NWNList Scry and getting the crew together!

Hey all...all? Returned to this forum for old times sake, awhile ago, and nothing....sad to see. Of course I guess NeverWinter took over. 
I have the old NWN installed...and resurrected Bix...my Gnome. He was shocked to see what had happened.
(Just in Case..pun sort of intended) I was once JustnKace - can't find the password for him. So made Justn. )
I was surprised and happy to to see my last posts - the Chronicles of Bix - were still available to read. Miss that ole' gnome. (NeverWinter doesn't have any) But Mcfee - that ole' rogue - is there. (As a Halfling Cleric). Look him up, if you play NeverWinter. (Been Star Treking lately, but do pop in to NeverWinter).
As for the old servers, would love to see Talus again. Had loads of fun there, even when some people - to remain nameless - had my penguins eaten in front of the Emporium.
If my some chance, it can come back, let me know. PLEASE!

Well, funny you should say that... RogueKing just emailed me a day ago and asked if I could get the server updated to NWN:EE... so... I dug out the old machine, and after a few hours of toying around with it, I've hacked into the backend database again (forgot the password), exported the tables, and can rebuild them on newer NWNX:EE persistence plugins that replaced the older NWNX. I may need some help cleaning up the module areas to remove the older hakpaks, but we will see how bad it is once I get NWN:EE loaded on my laptop.

Appreciate the work you are already putting into this! Really hope we can get the old crew and new folks to experience this server.

Anyone on board with getting a discord server going when the server is back up? Its the thing to do these days

If you want to, there is a way to reset your password as long as you have access to the original email account.
Go to login.
Choose "Need help with something else"
Then "Log into existing account"
Then "I dont remember my login details"
In put your original email address. They will send a password reset link. Done!

Thanks to Lanthar for all his efforts recently. The NwN 1 server is online and also shows in the server list. Along with being accessible directly.

Same NwN1 (Enhanced Edition) with the CEP haks.
It is on its most recent update (Merik city added and all the changes made along the way) so its not entirely what some who were old timers may remember. Some things are changed, some moved around and others removed.

So far I have seen 3 others playing online.


The web server is back online but very much dated so take the data with a grain of salt.

Lanthar can move your old/existing characters to your account once you login. I believe he has to do this manually in the background but if you email/contact him it should not be an issue.

Look forward to seeing you folks back there. With life, my play time is mostly weekends/evenings and not all day events unless I am on PTO and the "honey do" chores squared away.

I can jump in as DM if anyone needs something and Lanthar is not available.

Er....Me again - Guess I'll do this more as Mcfee, cause I ain't got a clue. I Don't have my original NWN. (Lost it along the way) Got it from GOG - Steam. Can't see any Servers.... So, am I S.O.L.? (keepin it clean, after all, Mcfee started as a Janitor).

Hey again...amazingly... I did it. (Mcfee Helped).  Can NOW see the servers (gosh there are alot!) but says I don't have the HAK?
 - What do I need to do and where to get the updates needed to get back on? (Geesh! If this works, I may (ok will) go on Hiatis (That's a halfing word, I think for Walk-About  -- which is Australian...Hmmm...are Halflings Australian...) (McFee!) (sorry.) from NeverWinter and Star Trek Online.)
Where was I? Oh yeah, how, where the HAKS and how to get em going. Hope don't need RAR or other util to unpack...don't have em.

Yup. Me again - THINK I got the haks...but I don't have a NWN folder? (nothing in Docs). I use Enhanced version from GOG. Can get to charc. generation, then get the no Hak message. The game is in NeverWinter Nights Enhanced Edition folder. That gunna mess me up? (the Diamond version can't even see the servers).

Thanks to George...found the folder (duh!) Got on..and Have BIX again. Shocked and pleased to see that George still has a job, and a wagon. Didn't seem to recognize me. But I do look a bit different..and MUCH weaker, than I was before. And Ari seems to be a fairy dragon, rather than a penguin. 
Now I just gotta learn the mechanics again. (Thanks for having it back!) Missed it.
