Her journey has began. Through many fields and woods she passes like a shadow, unseen and unheard. On she searches for the place of her dream, a place of answers. "Mystra guide me and giv me strength" she whispers. "Cthorna, your servant asks your blessings as well" joins the whispered words. Her heart is torn but she knew no other way. She has to know what has happened to one she cares about.
As she steps around a large tree she catches sight if the building. Her breath catches in her throat and her heart pounds. She pauses to compose her self and to listen for any sounds that may tell her what lies ahead. The only thing that reaches her ears is the familiar sounds of the woods. Hiding behind the tree, she prepares for a fight. With a final spell to hide her from sight she slips to the door. Again she pauses to listen and again only the sounds of the woods come to her. With a trembling hand she tries the door and finds it open. She slips in quietly and closes it behind her. Before she can turn to see the room she knows something is very wrong. The smell of death assails her, cloaking her in it's stale embrace. A small gasp escapes her and she pauses to be sure she is unheard. The silence of a tomb fills her ears. Turning quickly she takes in the scene and horror fills her. Black clad bodied lie every where. Burned, sliced, twisted and broken they lie as the fell. Her eyes scan the room and come to rest on the center figures locked in a macabre embrace. Two figures stand with each others sword driven through their hearts. Sadness fills her as the face of her missing love is recoginized.
An open door shows another room with a body laying strangly in the doorway. Stepping gingerly she enters the room and her sadness grows. Ania lies on the bed, her bare skin sliced and burned so badly that she is barely recoginizable.
She returns to the front room and the tears flow for what seems like hours. With no more tears to cry she grows cold and empty inside. She approaches the pair to see how best to seperate hem so Waz can be buried properly. As she touches his body hr hair is gently blown back and his scent covers her. A whisper fills her ear and she feels his breath on her neck. "Nica, I love you." his spirit whispers and begins to fade. "And I love you as well" she whispers in return as he fades from sight.
After a quick search of the room she finds the clue she needs to understand what happened. She was the target to be killed but Ania was taken to find out where she was. Waz must have found out she was missing and discovered the hiding place of the group. In a rage at the death of his sister and the threat to her he attacked by his self. The battle must have ended with the two mighty warriors plunging their swords into each other.
After removing the bodies of Waz and Ania, she calls apon her power as a wizard and as a cleric. Fire springs from her hands and takes elemental form. Burn it, burn it all. As the elemental enters the building she calls more fire both from her hands and from the sky. Her rage and sadness fuel her spells and in the end no trace is left save a burned ground and ashes. She then calls for a mighty wind to blow the ashes away and to clean the land. When she has nothing left, she begins to dig in the dirt. She summons an animal helper to aid in the digging and places the bodies of her sister and her love in their final place of rest and covers them. Two seeds are found and planted on the spot. With a final blessing to them and to the ground she turns and leaves. A pair of gold rings hang from a chain around her neck, taken from their hands showing their family crest. As she reaches the edge of the clearing she turns and speaks in the laungage of the celestials. When she finishes she turns and with a small hand motion vanishes from sight.
