Alright, all 15 chests from that room have been removed.
Remember the configuration. 3 in each corner, 2 at the door and 1 right next to the forge for coal.
Thanks BW.
With that, I'm logging off the rest of the night. Too depressed after the loss of nearly our entire armory.

BW, I am not sure if this is the issue but after reading of "similar" issues on the bioware forum for other scripts suffering an "OID" error it appears it references a call error in that script. Having openned and perused ats_c2_default4 I found that line # 92 MIGHT need to have the "//" removed from the beginning of the file since if you read it, that line is a command argument and not a "comment" as "//" is used for. F7 to save/compile the script. After that I would hit "build/build module" "advanced" Make sure both "unused & missing" are NOT checked. All were really wanting to do is "compile" & under that "scripts" If that comes back with no errors then save the mod and reload.
Again I cannot find an exact match to our error but there are others with similar errors for other scripts and basically as I read then its either a corrupted script for some and for others a "remarked" code line.

Well...good news and bad news.
I logged on this morning and YEA, the chests were in place.
Good News: They work like charm and after filling the one by the forge with the coal, it closed and opened smoothly with no detectable lag at all.
Bad News: They are all linked. Put something in one, and it shows up in the rest, similar to the way you would have them set in a bank. I'm pretty sure that was not your intention. :-)
You also missed placing the two chests by the entrance of the crafting area. They should be near the side that has the enchanting furniture. These are for miscellaneous items that there are no crafting furniture for in that room.

There's several storage scripts available so I need to see which ones are doing what, and I was planning on doing some building last night (which went up in smoke) so I'm going to my building projects today and tomorrow. I'll follow up on this post with a status update.

Ok, sounds good.
We are going to refrain from using them for now because they are dangerous to use atm.
In the meantime we set up a few furniture chests to try and offload some items from the vendors and organize things, so there are a few more chests strewn around the room. We also went through and made a concerted effort to whittle down our stock to yet again reduce the amount of stuff on the vendors.
If when you do the changes on your placed chests, could you also name them to assist us in organization? I can e-mail you a rough room layout if you like with the requested names. Naming the chest for coal by the forge, and the crate for sawdust behind the woodcrafters bench, etc.
thx
We are also waiting on word if its going to be safe to start using the main vendor again. Strange thing is, I looked around peri at the merchants and didn't see anything missing from those, and I would know because I check them regularly. Is ours really the only one that got hit with this bug?

Update - I think I know what's going on and what to be doing about this. Please empty the chests in the HC and I'll make the change that I think will work.

Your placed chests at the embassy are all empty. We never did start using them due to stuff being eaten. Did you want us to clear out all my furniture chests too?

I'm making the changes as we speak on the embassy chests. When we know that they are working we'll add the couple of others in there that you wanted.

The chests in the HC crafting area should be working properly, so test a couple of them to be sure.

A warning to players that have vendors - if your player character hasn't logged in within 6 months there will always be the danger that your player vendor will be deleted. Player vendors require active participation on the part of the owner and having a bunch of vendors hanging around with owners that never log in only add lag to those of us who still play on Talus. The vendors that do remain on Talus will be well stocked or they will have been deleted as well. If you play on Talus it will be worthwhile to visit an existing vendor.

Any chance T2 will have player vendors?

Any chance T2 will have player vendors? At this point, no.

We could as a work around Ellis do a forum post of our goods on the forums here. Pricing or what we are seeking in return would have to be determined by the seller and purchaser.
