Hey lads & lassies, I'm trying to reorganize the forum a bit. I've read some good ideas on here for what information/features some of you would like to see more prominently displayed or made available. For example, the roleplay tips, the character portraits, etc. If you can, please refrain from posting for about 15 minutes, so I can shift things around. Hopefully, it'll make it easier to get to the discussions you're looking for more quickly. 'preciate it. Anj UPDATE: k, i'm done. Hope it's less confusing to get around here now. Let me know if you'd like to see something added/changed. Your feedback is always welcome! Thanks, guys. cya online!

Okay. I suggest a background color change. Some art detail to the site would make it interesting.

Okay. I suggest a background color change. Some art detail to the site would make it interesting. Thanks for the feedback, Tor. But, I actually think it looks fine as it is. These forums are about the messages, after all. Art details and a break from the color scheme would be too distracting.

I love the way it looks, plus, would art stuffs make it load slower? If so, ICK.

Endarn, Thanks for your willingness to help! While I've worked with flash and like its funky effects, etc. I think, that to keep the website completely accessible to everyone who views it we should stick with text links (rather than flash rollover buttons). It's fast loading and simple to update. If you know PHP I'd be very interested in working with you. I started working on a PHP-friendly template a while back but due to school and work responsibilities never moved forward with it. When I get somewhat settled in RL I'll try and work on that again. And, if I can get Geo away from his own studies that should go even quicker. It should make things tons more efficient (updating, loading, etc.). The flash intro would be neat, e-mail me your ideas, I think it should be interesting. You might also want to check with Lanthar to see what he thinks. The website as it stands was designed by me with little input by anyone. Lanthar just went with my design ideas, since it was my personal side project, and something I just wanted to do for the module I played on frequently. (I'm not hired.) I think, it's worked out well so far, but I didn't imagine it'd be housing as much info as it is currently. At this point, it'd more important, IMHO, to make the site dynamic, using PHP. However, if you (or anyone else for that matter) would like to design a new homepage, I'm not going to stop you! Like I said, I volunteered. Run your ideas over with Lanthar and the rest of the Talus community, if you feel inclined. Cheers, Anj

is there some chance ATS would return? If not, wouldn't it be better to remove old confusing posts about that system?

is there some chance ATS would return? If not, wouldn't it be better to remove old confusing posts about that system? Hi Dazed, Welcome to Talus. I've been reading your posts - thanks for participating and leaving feedback. You're right, the ATS posts may be confusing things. I'll clean up those forums later today when I get back from work.

Another little thing. After events i witnessed today, which basically left my pc standing in Talus doing nothing as I kept checking back on the forum, I started looking for a rule thread, wondering, is there any protection for the roleplayer here at all? I see nothing but a 3 page post where peeps are arguing about a server wipe that happened way back. Maybe I'm simply overlooking the obvious, but I'm a little nervous now and would like to see what's what.

There are some rules here: lanthar.dyndsl.com/modulerules.htmlThey may answer your queries. Oh the intrigue! Now that the other squable has been moved to the DM boards and I can't read it I will have to wait with anticipation here... *sits*
