Did you mean Dorigan Island? The remake is certainly cleaner (most of the incomplete threads seam to have been eliminated. I'm a little disappointed that my favorite Grizzly hide hunting spot is gone and you can't skin the dire bears or any of the animals I've run across. But very well done in general. In the past Dorigan always impressed me as unfinished. Some very interesting possibilities but ...

The numerous spawns of grizzlies was a little over the top before and they didn't quite fit right .. they are in one map, just not as a CNR.. But?.... Finish the thought

They didn't go anywhere. There were several statues that lit up like they were important. There were exits that didn't go anywhere. The peaceful lizard folk village with the agressive lizard folk next door. The darkened map. All looked like they had a history that could be used for new adventures, puzzles, etc. Why the pier with nothing around it and no boats to swordbanes village or the city.
As for the bears the ones on the way to Swordbane village were never CNR but just East of the Village there were a couple of CNR animal encounters. High levels only got grizzleys but 5 or so with each spawn. I have yet to find a place to pick up CNR Dire Bear hides and was really hopeing I'd found it when I hit that encounter.
***edited for addthe following *** The grizzley encounters on the way to Swordbane village on the old island were over the top. If Rory didn't fieel like fighting them he used to have quite a pack follwoing him by the time he got to the village and back. Haveing the ship arrive in the village makes a lot more sence.
