*osa walks into peri*
What is this? Orcs .. *fighting them* and very small voice * wow lady*
I am Osa . I am Gia the small voice replied.
A mysterious lady appears.. You killed my pets you will pay.
Osa: dream on.
After slattering the lady (( Ok I am bad at remembering npc's names)).
Greater Balors appear.. they get killed.
Another lady appears. Gia runs to get help from HC Sayuri.
fighting many things that just are not normal in Peri..
Private Jerkins is found dead from the attack.
Tomar is questioning Osa and Sayuri thinking they where the ones guilty of this murder.
Osa has no love lose for guards and after many exchanges of words Osa spits and pushes the guard.
O: why where you not at your post sir. You call yourself an officer and a soldier
Tomar goes to report his suspicions to the judge in Lomatian.
O: If your guards can catch me *trips Tomar* You best have good proof we are guilty.
Just like all you goodie two shoes ( paraphrasing not said IG)
Accuse people cause they are the ones that find the body or helping out.. Worse yet *eyes Sayuri* Accusing one of being associated with evil simple cause one is with less than others and their circumstances leaves them little options. It is bad rulers that allows his people to go hungry and leaving them no choose but to steal to survive, then locks them up for stealing. Who is the evil one?
*Osa shakes her head and returns to do some business and packing at the EN*
(( TYVM Marcus WB to Dming great fun))

Tomar rushes into the court of the Lomatin judge and begins weaving his tale of how he was patrolling the coastline of Peridotia and when he came back to where he usually talks to his militia he found Private Jenkins dead and two women surrounding his body.
Tomar: Your Honor, I do feel they attacked and killed my soldier. They blamed orcs but there were no signs of that and the one woman kept trying to get others into their lies but those people had no part of it.
Tomar waits as the judge mutters over the story he just heard.
// Thanks Osa for the welcome back...it is nice to be DMing agin and I thank BW for the privilege. I know this was unstructured and done in haste but I hope you did enjoy it and maybe it will continue? Perhaps the imprisonment of Osa and Sayuri is about to take place? Muhahaha!!!

Sayuri was left shaking her head as Tomar headed for the docks to go spin his tale about events that had transpired in Peridotia that day, to the foreign "authorities", such as they were, in Lomatin, of all places. She watched Osa run after him, harassing him verbally and physically all the way to the boat.
Sayrui was convinced Tomar had lost his mind, was possessed, or both, and Osa... well, she was just plane pissed at Tomar's insistence that she had anything to do with Jenkins' death.
None of it made sense.
---
The attack on Peridotia, especially the scale of the attack with orcs from various regions, demons, assassins and wizards of known repute, was, in a single word, bizarre. All of them had fallen under the combined might of Osa and herself, but, that didn't help answer the questions that had been raised in the brief, but nonsensical parlays they had gotten in with a few of the mages.
Sayuri had seen, and helped repel many of a strange attack on Peridotia over the years, including dragons, golems and even the d**ned more than once, but nothing like this unprovoked event.
All evidence to the north of the town pointed to a small orc army gathering, but the why was unknown. By her own quickly spoken account, Gia (Kisaki's pixie familiar) had been roaming around the area and happened to stumble upon them setting up their war camp. Being discovered, their leaders panicked and attacked the town in attempt to get at the little pixie that, by all evidence on the battle field, had put down over 80 of their lesser trained troops with her sling, but fled to the city gates when the orc shock-troop reinforcements showed up.
When Gia got to the gates, the orcs were in close pursuit and the north gate guard died after a valiant defense. He never got the chance to raise an alarm. Gia then ran into the town and attempted to warn Captain Tomar and the young private Jenkins, but they didn't take her seriously until it was too late and they themselves were attacked. Jenkins fell at some point in the battle to follow, and Tomar was not to be seen again until after the battle had fully ended. Very suspicious.
Thankfully, Osa happen to be passing through town at that point, and she and Gia fought back as best they could against the tides of orcs flooding through the north gate until, one of the wizards who claimed to be the leader of the orcs decided to attempt to avenge her fallen army. When Gia had noticed the fight between Osa and "wizard woman" was at a near stalemate, she ran to Sayuri's house and got her.
Sayuri was leery to believe the quickly recounted events at first, knowing Gia's imagination and her flare to make a drama of everything, as pixie's were want to do, but faint sounds of battle and spell play from the town center quickly brought Sayuri to the realization that something was indeed, not well.
After Osa and Sayuri brought down the last of the attackers, the next seemingly stronger then that last, a quick check of the town and surrounding area was made to survey the damage and look for stragglers from the invading army. While waiting for Osa to return to the Challenger to meet her for a final scouting report, Sayuri saw the body of the poor private near the buildings corner.
She had just stepped up to determine if he was dead, or dieing when Tomar mysteriously returned and began his strange rant accusing first her, then Osa after she returned, of killing Jenkins. Attempting to touch reason in him appeared to just pull him deeper into a state of apparent paranoia, until he announced he was reporting them to the government of Lomatin, and stomped off.
It was a strange turn of events to say the least. Ignoring the remnants of battle all around him, he even went so far as to denounce any such event had occurred and insisted it must have been them.
Sayuri had known Tomar for several years since she took up residence in Preidotia, and had even fought by his side more than a few times in defense of the small frontier town, and tho she knew he was prone to fits of temper, she had never seen him in such an illogical defiance of reality. Insanity!
---
Sayuri shook her head and sighed, then went about informing the town council of all these events, and began re-organizing for the defense of the town.
---
She later learned from Ambassador Kisaki about a visit from a confused representative from the city council of Lomatin wondering why a militia captain from Peridotia across the water was claiming that two well known public figures had murdered a militia private, why the town council of that town hadn't sent him or backed the mans version of events, and what the hell they were suppose to do with the man since he was obviously out of his mind.
Kisaki had suggested quite calmly that they may want to lock him up for his own safety, and that having one of the temple high priests make sure he wasn't afflicted, would be a good first step. After that, a nice long interview with some lie detection magic might be in order.
