This thread is for crafting items that are not used in some way. Please be specific about the item(s). (See my post, following).
I am starting a list so that CNR might be updated. It's been languishing forever and the update has to start somewhere!

These can be made into hides and leathers and then nothing is done with them:
Wolf Winter Wolf
That is to say the skins can be crafted in hide or leather but there are no uses for the hide or leather.

I will add that there is a list for Dire bore leather and hide but the dire bore does not drop skin or meat

Easy,
All dyes for the most part. I cant remember when I used a dye since the dye kit was introduced, yet I still see them on all the same NPCs. Are the individual dyes still used for something?

All dyes currently in the game are from the CEP system. They are included in it's resource file and hence don't affect us and wouldn't be easy to remove. Instead of going through each vendor one by one, I decided to just leave them on vendors. They aren't useless, they work, they just aren't efficient

Bat, boar, and rat leather aren't used for anything that I know of. There are things you can make with dire hides/leather I just haven't been able to find them. Most of the items you cook don't do anything. They can be useful RP items.

Leopards, when skinned, give you skin of a "Leapard".
Useless, and it's not even a typo (not when 'a' and 'o' are on opposite sides of the keyboard). Just plain crappy spelling that made another item useless.
