He can use your disks as long as he uses a different set of cd keys. I am sure he can find a set of keys online somewhere if he doesnt want to spend the $10 to buy the game.

Check this out. NwN is actually not tied to your registry. So.... If you want to copy your whole NwN folder (subfolders and files alike) you can just paste them into his pc. Create a shortcut to the NwN file on his desktop. Tweak his nwn.ini file (for port changes so you can play behind the same firewall) Also the cdkey file (its an ini file also but i forget the name) and put in 3 different keys. If you look around on the internet you can find the keys or a gen but thats up to you and him. *** by taking a copy of your NwN folder he would automatically have all the required HAKs too*** He can be playing in no time. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Heheh, yes there is a way. We were thinking of doing that, just have to wait til when I can keep his laptop long enough to move the 26gbs over. Tried file transfer but his Win 7 machine wouldn't find my Vista. I thought I had bought a 32gbs card for my camera and was going to use it but can't find it.

I use a great FREE program for remote connecting/controlling one pc from another. It is called Team Viewer. It also allows file transfers. A will, a way.

Any word on your friend getting up on NWN?
Just as a thought, direct connect via Ethernet can also be done to transfer the files.

That guy won't be playing Talus unfortunately. Haven't talked to him or seen him really since I posted on this before.

One of my friends is trying to resolve an issue with NwN crashing to his desktop. Once he does he will be joying us online too. He played NwN a long time ago in stand alone mode so he will basically be a newbie. I am trying to convince another friend to make the $$ investment but I am not sure he has the time let alone the desire. He is very busy RL. Dont forget you can go to other servers and see if anyone else wants to check Talus out. Then there is leaning on your friends again. Im doing it.
