I'll post requests for help with this system here. Just answer them in this thread if you know of a solution to one of the problems I list.
Currently I need: 1: a well tested, easily altered skill tracking system for the magic system I plan to bundle. This must allow the players to assign their skill points when they level. It should also include a menu system that allows them to check their skills. Any suggestions?
That's all I need for now...

Okay, having received Zero suggestions on that.. I simply wrote my own from scratch. I'll be moving on to the string parsing portion tomorrow.

Read lips. Lets players attempt to find out what other players whisper.

Sometimes its hard to read lips if your head is in a helmet.... or, you can cover your mouth when you whisper.

Yes, sometimes it's hard. But then again, it's also hard to whisper in general with a helmet on. As for holding your hands in front of your mouth, why not allow that as an option? that way if you see someone holding a hand over their mouth you know they are either concealing their whispers or bad breath.
