Some updated info on Rade, if she's still going to make it into the hall? I hope this is fine.
Name: Rade Ilphukiir
Age: 245
Physical Description: Typical Drow characteristics; white hair, ebony skin, but pale lilac eyes, not red. Rade is very short, measuring just 4'11" in height, and also rather slim, giving her an almost child-like appearance.
Best Features: Like nearly every other Drow, she has a kind of dark beauty about her. She is an excellent singer, dancer, and story-teller, with a flair for the dramatic.
Worst features: like any other Drow, she's rather vain. She also seems to lack discipline, and the ability to take anything seriously, as well as - at times - a lack of good judgment. She is also rather flighty and chaotic, often ending a conversation abruptly to go off and do something else.
Hobbies: Singing, dancing, writing poetry, prose, and songs. Making people happy, educating people about her Goddess and the Drow who worship her Goddess. (though only if asked)
Profession: Singer, songwriter, dancer. ( Bard )
Personality: Rade much prefers to rely on wit, persuasion, and a sharp mind to defuse potentially dangerous situations. However, if there is no other alternative, she will fight with a ferocity most would never expect from such a small, slim woman. Always ready with a joke and a smile, she prefers laughter to tears. Thriving on attention, she won't hesitate to sing, dance, or generally just entertain. She also enjoys a bit of friendly competition too, especially in her area of expertise, entertaining. Since her return, she seems changed, with a passion to defend that which she loves that she never displayed before. This can lead her into conflict with the very people defending the lands, unfortunately
History: Surprisingly, for someone as well known as her, little is known about Rade's history before coming to the lands of Talus. Those who DO know, however, know that she came from a caring, loving family. Surprising, since she's Drow.
Following in her mother's footsteps, Rade strove hard to be the best singer, dancer, and adding to that list, breaker of young men's hearts in their small community. She succeeded beyond her expectations. Deciding the small village she grew up in was no longer big enough, she bid farewell to her parents and friends, and set off at the tender age 115 to wander the lands.
For five years she roamed, often subjected to cruelty and harshness due to her race. Nevertheless, she attempted to spread the word of her Goddess - Eilastraee - to the people of the lands through poetry, prose, song and dance. Some heeded her, many did not. After all, who in their right mind would trust a Drow? Especially a female Drow.
At one time, after saving the life of a near-dead man, and spending a brief time as his lover, she was introduced to the Harpers, eventually being invited to join them. This is something no one, not even her closest friends, know about her. Given the general view of the Harpers as meddlers and ne'er-do-wells, she prefers it to remain this way. There is one secret that only her closest friends know about her, that being her real name, Aly'ae Ilphukiir (formerly of house Alesek).
Prone to bouts of wanderlust, she has been known to leave the lands for months at a time, only to return out of the blue.
Probably Rade's two most heroic occurrences in Talus were her major role in preventing a Drow invasion of Peridotia, something that only 2 or 3 others know about. She was also involved in the liberation of what is now Mirek city.

Name: Xholoatl Family name: Koboldguarder Physical Description: Around 4 feet tall, white scales, blue eyes, wearing an elegant robe and a little circlet, as well as a blue cloak (all except the white scales and blue eyes is RP only due to the Kobold model not being dynamic) Best Features: Unlike most of the Kobolds in Talus, he is very charismatic, and happens to look much cleaner and tidy than the Kobolds of Talus. As a Sorceror of Tepok, he tries to help anyone whenever possible, and is very friendly towards everyone except evil beings, though with Dominate Monster he can convince evil beings to follow his orders temporarily, and possibly even become good. Enjoys reading books and learning the histories of different material planes. Worst features: Unlike most sorcerors, Xholoatl happens to be obsessive like a wizard. Thus when he starts obsessing over a particular legend, sometimes he seems a bit mad. He also happens to be quite cranky towards evil beings who try to make themselves look good, and has been known to accidentally cause a bit of destruction over trying to deal with evil beings pretending to be good. Hobbies: Reading, reading, and more reading. Also happens to greatly enjoy talking with fellow adventurers about his adventures, and about the history of the now-destroyed Sulpheret Islands. Is currently thinking about writing some poems about his adventures as something to do to pass the time. Profession: Sorceror of Tepok; he is currently the last one left. As a Sorceror of Tepok he must work towards promoting good causes. Marital Status: Married to Arlyn Koboldguarder, a pixie ranger, with two children: Ankha-Inzi, and Kaigor, both of which are half pixie half kobold. Personality: Xholoatl is very nice towards everyone, when possible. He prefers to try to resolve things without fighting, but usually when dealing with evil beings, there is no choice but to fight. Sometimes he is obsessive about a particular legend. As he himself said, he has the powers of a sorceror, but the heart of a wizard. History: Xholoatl was born on the Sulpheret Islands. As he grew up, he realised he was destined to be a great Sorceror of Tepok. He trained under the sorcerors of Tepok on the Sulpheret Islands, and eventually became strong enough to fight some of the Druchii on the Sulpheret Islands. Around the same time he was born, a pixie, named Arlyn, was rescued from a minotaur by Kroxoatl and a band of Lizardfolk Alliance warriors. The Lizardfolk Alliance realised that Arlyn was the only pixie left on the entire island, and thus they raised her as one of their own. As she grew up, Arlyn became very attached to Xholoatl, and by the time they were both 13, they were married. By the time Arlyn became pregnant, the Druchii were threatening to annihilate the Lizardfolk Alliance with one large force intent on killing off the supposed murderous race that killed their leader. In actual fact it was Malis Shadowblade who killed the Drachau of Nagyrth and made it look like a kobold did it. With no time to spare, the Lizardfolk Alliance launched their last ditch effort to evacuate everyone. Arlyn was put on one of the boats heading towards Talus, and Xholoatl decided to travel with many other Lizardfolk and Kobolds on the Floating City of Tlax. Arlyn's boat safely made it to Talus, albeit a bit later than expected. The Floating City of Tlax, however, was sent underwater by a Druchii attack. Luckily the Kobold sorcerors who controlled the city's flight were able to put a magical barrier around it, and made it permanent, so that the city would survive for at least 10 years. Xholoatl fled the city in one of the magical submersible boats that had been made specifically for this instance, and headed for Talus, where he found Kroxoatl and quite a few other Lizardfolk and Kobolds from the Lizardfolk Alliance staying in Kroxoatl's house. Many other Lizardfolk and Kobolds fled the city of tlax, leaving it deserted. Most of these Lizardfolk and Kobolds are living in the swamps of Peridotia now, hiding away from the evil Talus equivilants. After a while, Xholoatl gained the ability to teleport into Kroxoatl's house. Shortly after this he finally met Arlyn again and they both moved into Kroxoatl's humble little house. In his time in Talus, Xholoatl took up several apprentices. His first one, Mary Swift, unfortunately turned to the side of evil. Very few know that Xholoatl's former apprentice is now an evil witch who hellballs villiages with pixies in them. Those that know also know Xholoatl was not the cause of her rage against pixies; rather, she herself was to blame for her hatred of pixies, since her home was destroyed by pixies long ago, and even though the pixies of Talus would never do such a thing, she continued to be mad against them and eventually went insane. Xholoatl's second apprentice, Angel Spellfire, has so far been a good apprentice, though it has not been long enough to know if she actually will make a good sorceror of Tepok. Only time will tell. Xholoatl now works for the UFTN, and has been trying to help good people whenever possible. After the death of Kroxoatl, he recieved an inheritence of 1 million gold, thus making Xholoatl the richest Kobold in Talus. Some day he hopes to have a Temple of Tepok built, though this is a long way off due to land constraints. The most important historic event in Talus that Xholoatl helped with was killing Liveda's Spirit which had appeared in the Freeblade Battle Bowl. He hopes that this has weakened Liveda enough to make it possible to actually kill him.

Character (Name): Dante Cadeyrn Corlis
Physical Description: Anyone that can see him can tell he has a great deal of fiendish blood inside of him. Very well built (for a wizard at least), Dante stands at a solid 6 feet, and has deep blue hair. The front of which is spiked (just his bangs), while he allows the rest to grow long, occasionally in a pony tail. His head is crowned by two horns, whose tips are long enough to reach the back of his head. He has strangely piercing eyes, that have the hue and color of a well polished topaz. He tends to leave a very small amount of stubble on his face, and always has a sober and serious expression on his face. He is not a horrible thing to look at, but is very bad with people. His black feathered wings have a span of 8 feet from tip to tip when spread out completely, which he rarely does. He never slouches, and has broad shoulders and a decently muscular build, as if he has had some physical training, however little. Another attribute that most notice, and call him "Blue-Tail" for it, is his long, blue tail. Which he does not let anyone touch, unless he's caught off guard. It tends to thrash about the angrier he becomes. Due to his fiendish heritage, he ages at a much slower rate, and will probably die from enemies than old age. At Sixty years old, he looks around Twenty two years of age.
Profession: He is a very powerful follower of Mystra, the Goddess of Magic, and claims to be part of the weave, whether literal or not doesn't change the fact he uses the Weave well (Wizard). Though the gigantic axes he carries around seems to show that he is skilled with more than just spells, and his sharp mind allows him to be very flexible in combat. (Fighter and rogue). Due to his age and profession, Dante is incredibly intelligent and well read.
Personality: Cranky. Very, very cranky. While not a horrid person (chaotic good), he is very quick to spout off about his abilities, though on very rare occasions his arrogance is well founded. It's obvious his fiendish side shows influence in his reasoning, as he tends to come off as cruel and thuggish. He continues to state that he doesn't care for anyone, though he always has his penguin beside him. He is quick to anger and even quicker to alienate, though those he does call his friends he will not betray. He does not lie often, and will actually protect the very few he considers worth his time.
History: Obviously Dante would not share much with anyone, even those he is seriously close to. What is known, however. Is he has a serious distaste for his father (Vyctor Corlis), who is now deceased, and anyone that actually knew of him. It leads Dante to have a serious dislike of Mourn, who strangely enough has done nothing to Dante at all, and a mistrust of anyone that might maybe remember, it is obvious that there are darker things than the Wizard speaks of. His penguin Bauble was found wandering around in a cold wasteland, before Dante found him, and decided to take him along wherever he goes. It's well known knowledge that Dante is incredibly defensive of Bauble, and has been known to thrash a few spells about should someone call Bauble a pet. Dante always wears a heavy, black band around one arm. While it changes arms, he always wears it, even under his armor, and though he doesn't speak of it, anyone can know it brings a certain air of history about it. There is probably a lot of history about him as there is anyone else, but it's hard to glean any information about him, since he won't speak of it. There are rumors that he has tended to destroy entire villages just for being in his way, and that even a child's life may be insignificant if it gets in the way of what he wants. Of course, due to the stereotypical rumors of villains, and that no one has actually seen it, there is a large amount of doubt on whether or not it is actually true, though Dante never openly denies or acknowledges it. His three closest acquaintances are Catherine LeVain, who he is currently entertaining a relationship with, Aethil the Paladin, and Elvawen Spiritwalker.
((Note: I would leave more history, but it's not common knowledge; I will bring a picture of him up soon.))

Post by Aethil on Feb 17, 2007 5:53:21 GMT -5
Name: Aethil (Last name unknown)
General Appearance: His hair is snow white, and naturally spiky, wildly so. He stands with perfect posture at all times, his speech perfectly clear, showing his good schooling and intellect. He is constantly covered in armor from head to toe, his face always covered. When seen, a large scar from the top of his left eye to the bottom of his left cheek is seen. Though it isn't disfiguring he still keeps his face and most skin hidden, keeping his skin white. His eyes are like crystals of ice, giving his eyes a cold and piercing feel, but his facial build gives him a constant warming and friendly look.
Weight: 240
Age: 20
Birth Place: Citadel of White Wings.
Home: Peridotia
Diety: Lathander, The Morning Lord.
Profession: Holy Warrior. (Fighter/Paladin/Champion of Torm)
Favorite Weapon: Unknown. Two swords of differing quality kept with him at all times. One sword kept in a golden scabbard, with a plain blue hilt. The other kept in a plain leather scabbard with a jeweled silver hilt.
Hobbies: Unknown, not discussed.
Net Worth: 6.9 million
Biography: Aethil is a figure covered in both shadows, and light. Not much known about him, but his life shown to all who look upon him. He never speaks of his past except with bits and pieces, never giving the whole story, or even revealing the whole part of that piece. Nonetheless, Aethil stands with Peridotia and its citizens, often forsaking many of the other adventurers wishes to save the people that cannot fight. Aethil is cold, and seemingly uncaring, but his presence carries a certain air of hope. His blade is always a shining light within the darkness and he watches with extreme care over Peridotia, even if the city is watched over Cthorna. He is constantly seen watching the water, never moving for hours, stretching his wings out for only a moment, and then going back to being motionless. He often speaks openly of his threats, most spoken being: The d**ned. He never hides his constant raids upon the d**ned Citadel, often going in alone only to come out seemingly unharmed, and of sound mind. Aethil's skill with the blade is amazing, but no information on where or how he learned is known. His body a honed fighting machine, never faulting at all and it has been noted that Aethil can fight for hours on end without tiring in the least, showing that his stamina is amazing, and whatever taught him such dedication is certainly something that he intends on using one day. As for the man's past, nothing is really known. He came to Peridotia for undisclosed reasons, he remains for the hope to see that land bloom. Despite his shadowed past, only fragments is known about it. Someone named Mary was once important to him in his life, he came from the Citadel of White Wings, and something has given him a natural affinity with water. Whatever these things might all mean, publicly, it isn't known. Aethil is an enigma, one that he has shown no means of deciphering himself for public knowledge.

Update of Xholoatl's character profile:
Name: Xholoatl
Family name: Koboldguarder
Physical Description: Around 2 and a half feet tall (the max height for Kobolds in 3.5th edition D&D), white scales, blue eyes, wearing an elegant golden robe and a little circlet, as well as a blue cloak (all except the white scales and blue eyes is RP only due to the Kobold model not being dynamic)
Best Features: Unlike most of the Kobolds in Talus, he is very charismatic, and happens to look much cleaner and tidy than the Kobolds of Talus. As a Sorceror of Tepok, he tries to help anyone whenever possible, and is very friendly towards everyone except evil beings, though with Dominate Monster he can convince evil beings to follow his orders temporarily, and possibly even become good.
Has written many poems about his adventures.
Profession: Sorceror of Tepok; he is currently the strongest one, though more may eventually rise. As a Sorceror of Tepok he must work towards promoting good causes.
Marital Status: Married to Arlyn Koboldguarder, a pixie ranger, with three children: Ankha-Inzi, Kaigor, and Kroxtep, all of which are half pixie half kobold.
Personality: Xholoatl is very nice towards everyone, when possible. He prefers to try to resolve things without fighting, but usually when dealing with evil beings, there is no choice but to fight.
Xholoatl's second apprentice, Angel Spellfire, unfortunately failed to be as good as Xholoatl had hoped. Eventually she was turned into a construct, and was eventually completely destroyed.
His third apprentice, and apparently the only one who actually has stayed true to the faith of Tepok, is the Gnome Sorceror Boddyknock Grimble (sp? Fix if necessary). Boddyknock is also now romantically involved with Xholoatl's daughter, Ankha-Inzi Koboldguarder.
In recent events, Xholoatl decided to be stupid and drew 3 cards from a Deck of Hazards. The first one summoned a dragon that temporarily terrorized Peridotia; the second one gave Xholoatl some gold; the third made him chaotic evil. Shortly after becoming evil, he built a Shrine of Tepok, and his god restored his good nature at least somewhat. He is now completely neutral in all aspects, though he has been trying to become good natured recently.
Over the years Arlyn and Xholoatl have raised multiple children; their most recently born children, the twin brothers Kaigor and Kroxtep, are very different in their outlook in life. Kaigor got scared by goblins and went to farming. Kroxtep is becoming a Warrior Sorceror of Tepok in time.
Xholoatl now works for the UFTN, and has been trying to help good people whenever possible. After the death of Kroxoatl, he recieved an inheritence of 1 million gold, thus making Xholoatl the richest Kobold in Talus. With some of his money he built a Shrine of Tepok for all to use, though currently there isn't much.
The most important historic event in Talus that Xholoatl helped with was killing Liveda's Spirit which had appeared in the Freeblade Battle Bowl. He hopes that this has weakened Liveda enough to make it possible to actually kill him. Recently he also helped slay the Vampire Lord Radu, and thanks to him the Shrine of Tepok was also built.

Post by Lassandra on Mar 13, 2007 11:06:35 GMT -5
LassandraHair as white as new fallen snow cascades around her head, parting only for the delicate features of her face and two long goat like ears. Two small dark brown horns pierce the top of her scalp twisting skyward and then suddenly curving back behind her. Her eyes are clear; pigment less in fact, their near invisible pupils scanning the scene. Her skin is a very light tan, healthy looking from a distance but the reddish spots here and there show signs of something more. She walks with a confident stride, each step measured and full of purpose, a possible sign of some rigid discipline. Her body is feminine, strong curves of a female warrior coupled with the soft curves that would attract a man’s eyes. To hear her speak is to hear any normal woman’s voice, lighter then a man’s and feminine in everyway. She speaks with an accent, not a lisp or a drawl, it sounds more Waterdahavian. She wears battered scale mail of some foreign design, its colors faded and bleached by either time or wear and tear. Physical Description: Lassandra is an Albino, her snow-white hair and pigment less eyes make her stand out in a crowd. Her body is well maintained, she stands at 6’0” her weight is unknown. The 4’ long devil-like tail she possesses is unusual in that it is prehensile, able to flex and curl around her leg or waist in times of need. Her horns are twisted and antler like, not at all very demonic looking, perhaps it meant something on her home world. Through the use of scented oils and soaps Lass is able to mask her own sulfurous odor, not gorgeous by any standard Lassandra could be considered attractive. Her face is emotionless nearly all the time, no matter the subject material. Her smooth features add to her beauty but give her a timeless look that may frighten some off. She appears to be in her twenties, though her true age is unknown; rumors have it that she is much older. Personality: Lassandra is not easy to get along with; the inborn Tiefling paranoid is quite obvious. She dislikes people touching her by any means and has only learned over the years to allow only the closest of friends too. She has an almost fanatical dislike for the abuse of magic, frivolous use of magic in public and summonings will draw her ire quickly. She will ask for the dismissal of summoned creatures and the cessation of displays of magic. She is brutally honest with people, while having earned her respect over the years it has made her some enemies as well. Origin: Speculation at best. Religion: None mentioned. Martial Status: Unmarried. Family: None known. Professions: Fighter, Weapon Mistress and part-time rogue. Hobbies: Exploration, Gem cutting, Gem collecting, Katana collecting, chatting with her friends, fighting the various terrors of Talus and being a smart-arse. Best Feature: Her keen senses. {{ Links of previous Lassandra Biography (old)}} lantharslair.proboards10.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=character&thread=1094835436&page=1lantharslair.proboards10.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=character&thread=1093280774&page=1

Sayuri Zhang Ziyi Race: Half-Elf (Wild Elf) Gender: Female Age: 19 Disposition: Lawful Good Seasons of Experience: 40 Description: Sayuri stands 62 inches with eyes of radiant dark blue and long flowing black hair that is normally worn up for combat. She is fond of bright clothing of yellows, whites and golds. At a glance she appears to be but a young girl, especially for a half-elf. Those whom dismiss her out of hand by her youthful and innocent appearance do her a great disservice, and a greater one to them self. Sayuri has an easy and caring demeanor, but an immense presence of life force and self control. Normally quiet and reserved, she will only come out of her "self reflective shell" around those whom she has come to know and respect. In these circumstances, she has been known to play a practical joke, tell an occasional "off color joke" or even flirt lightly with those few men she may feel kindred to. Professions: Monk/Paladin/Ranger (in that order of influence) Patron/Deity: Lathander (The Morning Lord) Religious Order: Monks of the Sun Soul Family in Talus: Skyli Shadowhand of the 'Order of the Shadowed Hand' is rumored to be her half-sister. Marital Status: Single (no significant other as yet....heh) Favorite Saying: "May you always walk in the light, for in the dark, you bump into things allot!" ;D (Information available in her Diplomatic Bio)Backround & Origins: Sayuri was born in the lands of the 'Holy Crusaders', a far off kingdom that has just recently discovered the existence of the lands of Talus, and was sent as an advance scout to establish contact and relations. Sayuri holds the rank of a 'Knight Paramount of the Royal Scouts', and is currently the Commander of all 'HC' military assets in Talus. Sayuri was sent, when very young, by her parents, to the monastic order known as the "Order of the Sun Soul". There she learned and advanced quickly, and in her third season of training she took the oath of a Paladin to Lathander, and to the 'Holy Crusaders'. As she advanced through the ranks of 'HC' and continued her training as both a Monk & Paladin, Sayuri became inspired with the beauty & grace of nature. Feeling this to be a natural extension of her beliefs in The Morning Lord, she began spending more and more time with the rangers and druids of a nearby coven. When later faced with which of 'HCs' 'Knightly Orders' to join, Sayuri's training and experiences naturally pulled her in the direction of the 'Royal Scouts'. Sayuri's force of will, focus and dedication to her order saw her rise to the highest rank of Knighthood in just 15 seasons, and at the tender age of 14! Sayuri's mix of skills, dedication, leadership and religious fervor made her the perfect choice when the Queen Mother of' Holy Crusaders, came looking for the "First Knight" to the new world of Talus. Sayuri was just 16. [Lore Check of DC 55]Is is believed that Sayuri's half-sister, Skyli was also enrolled in the same monastic order, but became dis-enchanted with its ideals and later left. Little is known of the 'Order of the Shadowed Hand' in which she later joined, except that the order may be some sort of "spy cult" dedicated to Mask, and their order believes that evil can only be eliminated by adopting (and sometimes exceeding) the tactics of evil, under a strict code of conduct. This order is sometimes spoken of in polite company as, "The evil that hunts evil." Sayuri and Skyli are believed to be on speaking terms, tho their relationship is tense. It is speculated that Skyli followed her younger sister to Talus, to either spy on her, or guard her from the shadows. Only Skyli and Sayuri truly know.....perhaps.

Sakura in full armor Sakura's Epic Reputation Sakura Tristessa is her name, born of Michael and Vanessa Tristessa. She is a full-blooded elf, born as an albino. Her skin is white as is her hair. She received her mothers pale blue eyes. (Though in game they are red, a minor mistake on my part.) Rumor has it that her mother was a snow elf that was tamed by a paladin of Sune, thus, Sakura followed in her father’s footsteps. It is a well known fact that Sakura brought her sister, Nimue, to Peridotia from the slums of Lomatin. Her sister is a bard with a beautiful voice which Sakura feels she must protect. There are other reasons but they are hardly common knowledge. Sakura is very charismatic. Her very aura gives off courage and love. She is very sweet and kind to others. She has great conviction when it comes to love. She is confident in her duties to uphold peace. She has been known for negotiating with Drow and Orcs, despite her dislike for both races. It is known that Nimue and Sakura were born in Snow City and they both saw Orcs kill their parents. Their father survived. How he did is not known, nor was it known to them that he lived for sometime after they had grown. After their parents’ deaths, they moved to Lomatin to live with their father’s brother, their Uncle Ty’rick Tristessa. They eventually moved from there for reasons unknown. Sakura seems to work things out by using her words. She seems able to work out most confrontations by talking things out. She seeks to bring an end to all that is ugly, undead, violence and hate. She would love to see all creatures live in beauty, love, and harmony, just like any Sunite would want. She has been involved in several different events, most of which regarding the safety of Snow City. There have been rumors of her defending Peridotia from Orcs. Also during the aftermath of the scattering of the planer rifts, she spoke with the Drow in order to stop their attacks on Peridotia. She also is known for helping Mourn retrieve his wife from Hell itself and fighting undead legions under Foebane’s command. She is most known for her battles with Radu. Her father’s enslavement under Radu has left her to deal with the consequences of his act. Through those battles her father was forced to enslave her. He was then killed in a battle with her friends. Mourn then played a chess game with Cthorna to remove the crown that held her under Radu’s will. With a bit of taunting from Amber and Sakura about lost love, Mourn won the match. From that very moment she swore to end Radu existence once and for all. She has been known to speak with Saltora about this, though she doesn’t like her much. Rumor also has it that Sakura has helped in changing Mourn for the better and are currently exploring their love as well as memories of their childhood together. She keeps friends with the Holy Crusaders whom have come to her aid on a number of occasions. She also has befriended Aiden, a fellow Sunite, who has been showing interest in her sister. She shows great respect in Aiden’s opinion. She also values the opinion of Aethil. (For more information OOC stuff, see The Tristessa Sisters in the Role Play section) Sakura in street cloths. This is how I picture her, though she has the body of a human rather than an elf, oh well.

Coupled with her very fast reflexes she is very elusive to those she does not want to see or to be seen. Known to possess: Master Locksmith Certificate. There isn't a lock on Talus that she can't pick. ************** HEXCESS FREEBLADE 2nd LEGION HISTORY ((120 Years Earlier)) From out of a dark and malevolent past, this spirited, impassioned, raven haired woman has faced many challenges in her struggles to find herself. With her artful skills as a rogue for hire, her aspirations led her to be a founding mistress and leader of a notorious guild that dabled in the underworld city buisness. As fate was her enemy and now her apparent savoir, the Encarius Nosce dissolved. She moved on to learn more skills for her survival in life. In her many travels out side of the lands, she met an assortment of mentors and friends. With Generals she learned of how to be a leader amongst others, with courtly Emissaries diplomacy, with Wizards knowledge, with Clerics the value of life, with renegade Rebels tactics and with Monks, to be humble. But it was the Weapons Master and the Holy Paladin who taught her the most. It was with them that she at long last found herself. With her shadowy past truly left behind her and after many years away she returns to the lands. From distant knowledge she learned of an old and ancient order that had its lands magically hidden till the time the balance in the world was in favor of those who live for strife. Many went before her to find these vastly rich and powerful lands and the ancient order within, but all failed and never returned. For they did not know that to awaken the order, you first have to awaken it from within oneself. From within those who can truly make a valuable difference in the world today. Many answered her call to arms and magics for they too know the value of life and freedom. Now these brave and valiant men and woman of all races and creeds have banded together to form a team of nothing less then epic heroes. Long live the Freeblade Legion. ******************* HEX'S LAST SPEECH ((100 Years Earlier)) She pauses to take a breath before carrying on. Her voice filled with a hidden emotion. "After confirming our fears from the dawn of time, we will be retracing our ancestors footsteps in the dark chambers of distant gray lands. And through the madness, through the terrors that we must pass, we will walk them with our heads held high and faith in our hearts as if awaiting the sunlight that may never come." "In time, we will face ourselves with all our faults and fears." Slowly, she starts to walk the inner U as if trying to talk to each and every member, one on one. "Now that I know the final conflict is within the lands, I recognize the faces of my friends and hear the call of battle." Coming back to the top of the U, she looks on pleadingly to all about her. "Come journey, journey with me through the darkest hour. Stand up, fight for your honor, fight for your families. FIGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM!" She shouts, her emotions now fully vented. -Hexcess Freeblade, Just days before the 2nd Legion's first journey into the Lost City of Akrona. *edit: Just for the record, the speech theme song is taken from Darkness before Dawn, -Killing Joke. end edit* ****************** HEXCESS 3rd LEGION HISTORY ((Present)) Trapped. Locked within the forgotten plane of ethereality with many other lost souls by means of the most blackest and forbbiden of magics, she met Oblivion. With a very ancient and evil form of magic known as "Soul Domination" for the last century she and others were forced to serve the one villian the Freeblades of the 2nd Legion could not stop. She walks now with newly born eyes, she wears a painted on vision of torment and a locked in sneer of revenge that every so often reveals itself behind the mask of tolerence she hides behind. Rumor's abound that the 3rd Legion have found the purpose of the Soul Stones and both the magic to bind and unbind those captured within. Tales of both valiant and deviant men and woman, beasts and faerie from the beginning of recorded time being magicly trapped and sealed within the Soul Stones are waiting to be found and then released now that the knowledge of the ritual is back in the lands. Some say that Liveda has already released many such Chosen Children of Chaos into the lands. Resting precariously on her shoulders is the new burdon of innocent blood that she has spilled in the last century in service as an Assasin in Liveda's d**ned Legion. There it tries to find a spot amongst the burdon of her Encarious Nosce days. With a sigh, she tries to straighten out her posture as best she can while parting the graying streak of stray hair behind her right ear. If rumors are also true, she was not alone, others came out of stasis with her. But none have been released from Hades unscarred. Those selected by the Legion to be released into the world of Talus are all under close scrutiny. Nashani Jarriin and Hex were the first to be released in the hopes that their close bond together would help them remember who they once were, and what they once devoted their live's for. But a 100 years of living in the shadows, killing without thought and serving a demon that brought about the downfall of all you know and cherished will not be easy to overcome. Looking up, she slowly extends her hand to the heavens as if to reach out to Torm, her former diety, but hesitates and lets fall her hand. Her mask silently and unknowingly slips off. She sneers to the heavens above and with a curse on her lips she puts back her mask, rests a hand comfortably on her stilleto and silently moves on to find the family she lost over a century ago and the new family she is just beginning to realize she has... OOC: Hexcess is / has run the gambit with alignments and though now essentially a "rogue" assassin once in thrall to Liveda with the d**ned Legion against her former family members, she along with Nashani Jarriin just can't seem to shake off the mantle of evil they once wore for the d**ned and are in a state of flux, not sure of which way they are going. Right now though it is quite apparent that Hexcess and Nashani are enjoying there newfound unlimited freedom both in the physical and mental sense. It is in this state they seem to be the most dangerous and conniving.

The Hall of Fame was created some time ago, and is located in the Freeblade Keep on Battle Island. The keep is still locked I believe, and only Freeblade or UFTN members have the key. I'm not sure what the etiquette is for taking visitors into the keep to see the hall tho. Thanks Longtide for updating the list!

Catherine Corlis She is the wife of Dante Corlis. She was once known as Catherine LeVain, however, it is known that she despises that last name for reasons she won’t speak of. She stands about five foot, seven inches. She has a slender yet strong build. She has long blonde hair which she generally keeps up in a bun. She sometimes has her hair down, growing down her back in a single golden curl to about mid-waist. Her eyes are a deep sapphire and at times, when she is really angry, they will have a hint of red in them, due to her blood. Also because of her blood, she has grown dark feathery wings. Rumor has it that she got them when she traveled through the red mists of Akrona. The mixture of the mist's influance over her blood caused the painful process of her wings growing. Over time as her adulthood progressed they turned to a midnight blue; with such changes to her body, as did her personality. She was aggressive before, but, due to her enraging blood, she became more ruthless with her words, no doubt matching that of her husband. Not much is known about her past. She doesn’t speak much of it. The rumors about her are that she traveled from another plane seeking to be a Chronomancer and in that pursuit almost destroy the fabric of time. Though it may only be a rumor, evidence would suggest its truthfulness by the rare gloves she always wears around her wrists that will stop time when she touches them. Though well versed in the arts of Divination, she is known for being a book worm. Her book collection is quite large, but small in comparison to her husband’s. She has been known for up keeping the law. She helped Aethil in apprehending Osa for theft and attended her trial. She is also known for helping Lassandra with her “daughter” Alissa, teaching her many things about magic. Catherine’s known desires are: taking care of her son, Aslinn Corlis, becoming a teacher of the arcane arts, and keeping her husband happy and content. Catherine keeps very few friends. She is quite the loner and can be quite curt when it comes to conversation to those that aren’t her friends and sometimes even to her friends. Last known to be her friends were Aethil, Elvawen, and Lassandra. ((I never role play her epic reputation mostly because she only has it due to her association with Dante))
