As far as I know now, the only real time we found a way to work it out, is to have our game on Thursdays, at 7:00 P.M. Pacific Standard time. Of course, check your timezone first. *nods sagely* Oops, I forgot that important detail

Tonight! Be there or be square....or come up with your own tired, worn-out, overused euphemism...

Last week's game went fairly well. The five of us. There was five, right? I think there was five? Anyway. We all made it to the bottom of the challenges with only minor mishaps. That was, until we ran into a particularly tough mob of Duergar on the 1600 level. Everyone fell quickly, but little Charmaine recovered and fled the massacre to recuperate. She was just about to wade back into battle, when a mysterious fellow arrived, slaying all the evil Dwarves with a wave of his hand, and then bringing Charmaine's fellow adventurers back.
Exhausted but satisfied, the group headed back to the service, and a few well-earned Ales.
I know it's short, but it's been a week now. I'm looking forward to the next adventure. The group was a bit disorganised, but started to get it together towards the end. Hopefully we'll have a better understanding of what is expected of our characters this time around.

What will be our policy on minimum levels? I'm thinking specifically in terms of prestige levels, like minimum arcane levels to get Arcane Archer, or Shadowdancer levels.

Our game yesterday was interesting. We found out quickly that a balanced group of level 5 characters aren't quite strong enough to clear the tunnel, so we gave up after everyone respawned. We then headed to Pirate Island which also turned out to be harder to do than Redbeard had let on! Our group's tactics had to be stellar in the face of some gelatinous cubes, but we finally took 'em down. One of our group claimed the slimies tasted like vanilla, and I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing......then in the enemy pirate ship we came across a goblin who claimed to be the best dang pirate cook ever. It seemed he had been mistreated and was begging to go with the group, so with a good deal of scepticism he was taken to the cook in the east lodge to see if he could help there. Imagine our amazement when the cook said that Glirp was the best dang pirate cook ever! With our heads shaking in amazement we took our pirate amulets and headed back to Peridotia, definitely not wanting to taste the fare of pirate cooks! ;D

What will be our policy on minimum levels? I'm thinking specifically in terms of prestige levels, like minimum arcane levels to get Arcane Archer, or Shadowdancer levels. I'd like to see more than 1 level of SD, or 1 level of wizard/sorc/bard to get AA levels, or any other combination like that. However, given the slow pace of our games, I don't see such class mixes as being a major problem. As a further note, we'll see how we're progressing in another couple of weeks. If it's too slow, maybe we can play an extra day, or play longer? We've played about 2 hours on both days now. Or, maybe we break up the game after we reach a certain level? Perhaps even play our characters during other events. Though this may lead to a big level difference at this point in time. We can discuss it in game when we all get the chance to be on at the same time.

Seems we are a no-go this week during our regular time. Do we have any takers for something like Sat 6 pm Pacific time (which would be Sun afternoon in Australia?)

Sorry for bombing out on you the other day. I'd already put up with connection issues to another server I had been playing on earlier that day. It turned out to be zonealarm 7. I fixed it by reverting to 6.5. Anyway, between that, Talus crashing, feeling a bit down (only a bit, not a lot! I wasn't like, weeping my eyes out or anything, just wasn't feeling very social), and the amount of housework I had to do, I really did not feel like playing with anyone in a group right then.

Don't stress it, it's all good! But we certainly hope to see you next game!

Let me tell ya, last session really helped because I learned the limit of my character as well as figured out how great of a team we make. We rock!! Not to mention with the small group we have I can actually get a word in rp wise. I look forward to our next session, whenever that is. I am flexible, just let me know when.

Tomorrow Thurs 4/12 at 7 pm PDT is the next get together. If the Underdark update is in we might go there. ;D Otherwise I have something else in mind.

We where missing much our little one our hafling..
The four of us adventured to return a wand that belongs to a lady named Seline...
We ran into some water elementals and had I not gotten out in what I thought was perfect timing .. Well to make a long story short. Parex a nice gentlemenly Elf from what he seem to be.
Gave me a few raises and reserrections .. If not for him our party would not have made it .. His kindness will not go un noticed ..
*Cuahtemoc* Temi sits and writes a thank you not for him..
We four Ben Elgar, Legodia Jalles, Calban Kakoron and myself are in debt to you sir. One day we will have to buy you a drink at the very least. I am sure Ben will try to convert you to his goddess of drink. Sincerly Temi
*folds the note, and places a dried marigold in the fold* And places it where hopefully Parex will find it.
