SMK and I came across a couple of bugs (my perception of the issue) related to the crap system. Both below ground under the new BI deserts. In some of the areas we could actually use our nwn built in skills of detect traps. (SMK is an elf i think) and we would see the red areas before using the crap tool. Then using the crap tool we would see something shiney and the trap would just go away... Also in the cave where the gorgon and medusa live we found a pit. Both of our characters should have been given the option to jump the pit since we are medium sized people. We didnt get any option other than to climb down and back up. On that one the only thing I can think is the pit was supposed to be too wide to jump or its glitched. It basically cut SMKs escape route off. Thanks for making the areas, its fun exploring and still much to see.

LT created Battle Sands without CRP in mind and I have not explored it to see the trap issue, but I'm not surprised by the seeming conflict. I'll have to adventure through and see what can be done. I added resting areas and a pit or two here and there. Now in regards to pits, how do you know your should be able to jump it? Is it that the pit is too large for anyone to jump? Is it that the builder is intentionally forcing the adventure into the pit? Just because your char can't jump it doesn't mean that there's a bug.

Just assuming since the only other pit i saw you add, any medium sized person or taller was able to choose to jump. If you were able to enlarge it so jumping is impossible thats cool; just not a known feature of crap to we users. It did end up causing the char in question an issue though. He last logged in pre the crap changes and wasnt smart enough to go to town and get 2 ropes/grappling hooks before exploring the deserts of BI.

BW, thanks for adding several new quests on battle isle ! We found 3 of them so far.. completed 2 of the three.
2 things we can point out about the 2 completed quests.
#1 quest for the flower of a dead hero. The flower appears to only be once on server reset.. so besides the 1 guy who gets it, were having to wait 8 days(time since last server reset) for anyone else to get the flower.. cool quest btw thanks!
#2 There is a bug in the potion filled vial quest. The item isnt being taken and destroyed from the character upon turning it in an completion. Ellis and I found this could be exploited so you may want to destroy on completion.
Again, thank you for the new additions. Makes for a very cool and fun experience.. Now I am not just haking in the desert for xp but seeking things !!

Thanks - I'll make that change. I had to make a change with the Medusa area also and then I/we can test and make sure that what is happening is as intended.
