* A prayer, written in elvish, asking for guidance, strength and courage is inscribed on the outside front cover as well at at the top of each page written on so far*
I have found my way to some tunnels that seem to lead deep underground. I pray Nixil has guided my steps in the right direction...
My thoughts grow as dark as this sunless world that I now roam. For too long has Suvari been missing... I have spent too much time in service to others instead of finding her. After helping the Crusaders defeat Maltrapix, could it be I can now concentrate on my sister? I do not fault Caitlin or Qarin or Lilith for being busy. I was the one to swear my oath to our mother to find Suvari. That burden rests on my shoulders but it would help to have Caitlin with me...
I have been moving as silently as possible to avoid any detection. It seems many days since I have last felt the warmth of the Sun. There is no such thing in this desolate place...
This day (or night or whichever) I have found a deserted village. Many buildings but not one male or female about. This is very strange to my reasoning and the silence stirs with a wicked feel...
Another discovery... Upon finding some stairs in a trail of tunnels, I decided to see what was beyond them. To my surprise there exists a city with stonework much like that of Lomatin. It is patrolled by wicked warriors and demons alike. I have managed to avoid their detection thus far. I thank Mircea for encouraging my training in the art of stealth. If only he was here as well...

*Reads the prayer inscribed at the top of the page*
I have been forced to hide within these city ruins for too long. I managed to put to rest each enemy that has detected my movements thus far but they do gain in strength and numbers the further I move into this pitch black world and farther away from the Sun filled sky that I do miss.
I must find Suvari *written with a shaking hand*
The darkness grows around me yet feels as though it wishes to consume my essence. *Hears a voice in the distance*... Suvari? Is that you...?
*A blast of hellfire erupts and the hero is thrown against the wall of a crumbled building* For that, you surely will die! *He manages to stand as the next wave of hellish flame strikes him but he avoids the brunt of the blast, maintaining enough reflex to race into battle once more*
