Seppuku - Voluntary Death

With the idea of being stuck in the bottom of a pit or some other place while no DM is on or just running short of time...

I think you should add the ability to commit suicide so that you can then come back between worlds and thus back into the living world.

Knowing that there are a couple of hidden pits or places a toon can get caught up (a wall or whatever glitch) I would like to have the option via an "on use" item to kill myself.
Since every toon gets the rules book on creation that item can be modified and scripted to allow death on use.

The most recent examle was yesterday when i fell down that pit; tossed up my grapple and it caught but at the top it did not take so i was in essence stuck.
I was VERY lucky you were on at the time. I would have been frustrated with no option out but to wait for days possibly till we got on together.
I can make up the gold and xp loss in a couple of hours so I would have taken that path out if you were not online.

You could have grappled the other side, but that side was not defined and has been fixed.

The point is taken and I think it would be very easy to attach that feature to the PC Scry. I'll look into that this week.

Because sometimes respawning happens where you're at, I will have to do some thinking on this. If one is going to voluntarily kill their PC to get out of a bug and such, then ironically it must be bug-free.
