The door at Foothills Lake Tunnel needs to be connected to Foothills lake. It is one way and you run into War Trolls with no escape.

Wow, just logged onto Talus n starting out at Lomatin Welcome Hall... something screwy going on?
Okay, what version of Talus is this? just walked from old Lomatin took the ship to a version of Peridotia I have never seen before...

All, I did not want to say anything out of hand.
We have rolled T1 back to pre-crap. This basically means it should be "as it was" near the end of what was old Talus.
BW was the only one who knows CRAP to any degree; it had its challenges to some of the few players who were actually left to play.
T2 will stay alive and of course it has only known CRAP so BW will focus his building efforts there.
Not knowing exactly where the last of the pre-CRAP happened (dates speaking) I rolled back a couple of years to be sure that something hanging on CRAP would be found or break a players experience.
Please log into T1 (and T2 of course but nothings been changed there) to see if you have any major issues.
There will be no active building on T1; no one has the time to commit to such a time consuming affair. I may just may dabble on someones major issue should one be necessary but dont count on such things.

Don't take me wrong, I wasn't complaining. I was just checking that it wasn't a fluke. The reset was to back before I started on Talus. I could look at working on T1 but that is totally up to you guys, I'm just offering :-) .

I believe I have found the latest non-crap update. BW did it on 7-24-2009. Mentions the PAW & cep2.2 on pg 3 of the server updates sub-thread. This is the one I will put in place tonight. It is probably as close to both old & new T1 we will get minus the PAW/CRAP. ****update**** I was testing it and while the areas look good, the monsters appear to be dropping the copper,silver & gold of the alternate money system. I could look at working on T1 but that is totally up to you guys, I'm just offering :-) . The generous offer wont be refused out of hand. I know at one point the Crusader guild was almost how they wanted it. There is a chance some of that has been lost in the roll-back. I just checked, the guild is there as for as basic entrance. We will have to leave it to Sayuri to see what else is fine or not. So far I have tested "R" rest. Picked some locks & traps. Teleport works (at least for my sorcerer). Again we will have to explore to see just what we have but from the last 2 hrs I spent running around (and died fighting the undead lord up in the lost) so far things are as I seem to recall. Ellis player vendor is stocked full of stuff! Thats the DB though and the DB was not touched.

Agreed! No server, no version is going to be fun without at least a couple of players online and or a DM. Unless your a script wizard which Lanthar is pretty good but not me. You can do some amazing things with the scripts and it could almost appear random but since we dont have said script wizard we have what we have. I was on earlier too. Need to set up some times so we can all log in together and run around.

The entrance to the lizard cave in the Alvarian swamps is broken. You can't get in to finish the Kart Datson quest.

Maybe Marcus can DM in and setup a 2 way portal to temporarily allow access. As long as the server isnt rebooted it should stay there. The entrance to the lizard cave in the Alvarian swamps is broken. You can't get in to finish the Kart Datson quest.

I just checked the entrance to the cave you need to go to...as I remembered from before, you may be thinking of the entrance being in the Alvar Swamps (the first area) between Alvar and the road. I'm glad I wasn't the only who remembered it there yet that is not the correct cave anymore. Journey to the Alvar Deep Swamp and you'll find it and another cave to enjoy =) with entrances working as should be.
Thank you for reporting this. I will try to check on anything manageable as DM just let me know/post it here - whatever you may find =)

Well, aside from a bugged bag that causes me to crash when I open it, and quite a few changes to the guild house being gone, everything seems to be running smoothly.
Edit: I remember that the bag that is causing me to crash has rope, grappling hooks, a tent, bedroll and firewood in it. All items that are now bye bye in the code most likely.
Slider, I believe the changes that are missing to the Guild Embassy were ones that you put in quite a few years ago, such as crafting items in the main room of the basement, a few locks and a safe for the guild key in Kisaki's room.
