*Zephira Warlocke enters the room. Her demeanor of dark gray surrounding her presence. She wears a black and purple gown with the hood covering her face. Her dark wings folded neatly on her back. She has a seat at the table inside a large spot light. Her head dipped as she folds her hand gracefully on the table. She looks around at all those who might listen. She slowly lifts her pale hands to her pure black hood and removes it to reveal her dark black hair. Her fair face a soft oval. Her lips a dark red which part slightly as she opened her eyes which are the same color of red. Her dark lashes framing the redness of her irises. She folds her hand on the table and looks down as if she preparing herself.* Many of you know me. *Her voice soft, dark, and gentle* You know of me as a kind and giving cleric of Heironeous. This is why my story is so difficult to tell. This is a story of a fallen one of light. However, I have not fallen completely into darkness. I must begin this story with the history of my family, the Warlockes.
I was born in a realm strong in the oriental style. I was born as a maternal twin with my sister Destiney. Our mother was a paladin of Tyr. Where she was born is something unknown. Although she told my sister and me several stories of her travels. She told gallant stories of how she fought evil demons and saved many lives along the way. Her name was Deborah Juno. She kept her own name for reason I know not. Our father was a great leader of our people. He was the great emperor of Nephia. He was what many of you would consider and evil man. They say power corrupts. He would have been that sort of man. His power was great for he could control time itself. Yes, he was a Chronomancer. His powers were great and I adored him. In my eyes he was nothing of what they all said he may become. You see, in our realm, a Chronomancer is greatly feared because of the power in entails. The marriage of Lady Juno and Lord Warlocke was on the rocks more than not. Near the end, their love for each other was cold. I think it was because of the secrets they kept from each other. It was hard to say what really made them that way.
As dark as our father seemed, it was nothing compared to the curse our mother brought upon us children. Our mother's eyes were a dark crimson at times. Normally they were a deep blue, much like the sky itself. You could tell when she was angry for eyes turned a dark red, it also did this when she was very sad. She said that she had to be careful when this happened. It didn't happen very often but when it did she would disappear for a few days. We never did find out what she would do in those days. My sister and I have her dark crimson eyes. She told us that it is but a shadow of what cursed her. She told us the story of Virgor the demon. It was the only story she told that was sad. For she still fought off the curse, even until today. She figured out how to live with it but never told us the secret. She thought it would never affect us because she overcame it before we were born. The curse is called the Supremacy Curse. The demon places the curse on those he cannot control, the good of heart. Normally the first stage kills the one he places it on. How our mother survived it, it was still unknown. She told us the story of how her first love died by it. The curse uses ones hate and sorrow to control them. The red eyes are the sign of the curse. When you know the demon will take control is when you start to cry tears of blood. There is a moment where you either over come the pain or you allow the demon to control you.
Between the two of us, Destiney and I, father decided that I was the one that would be worthy to take his place. As far back as I could remember he trained me to follow in his footsteps. Many were afraid of me as I grew. I didn't understand why at the time, you see, so I withdrew myself from everyone. I believe this was where I began to become the rogue that I am today. It became part of my ways. I would sneak my way around the palace halls seeking some place to hide judgment of others. Destiney, however, would always find me because she was training under mother. She was learning to be a paladin of Tyr even though the god of Heironeous was draped over all the walls of the palace. Her training as a paladin was a secret the three of us kept from Father. It made me angry to keep this from him, for we were so close. However, Destiney was trained as my personal samurai as she trained as a paladin. She was great in selflessness.
As she and I grew, we noticed that we shared a strange bond as twin sisters. As we both slept, we would receive each other's memories. It was chaotic which memories we would receive from each other but it came to the point where we would understand the other better than we understood ourselves. It was a strong link. I was grateful for this link because when our world came crashing down at the young age of ten-years-old, I was able to cling to her strength.
I remember it well. I joined Destiney in the gardens of the cherry fields one spiring morning. she loved to pray under the falling petals, which match the color of her hair so well, as the sun rose in the East. I walked up just as she raised from her prayer and the sun's light flooded the sky with dark red. The beautiful sun was suddenly blotted out by a horde of dark flying creatures. The pink petals turned into flaming destruction around us. Destiney, reacting as mother would, grabbed her katana which she had only just learned to use mainly because she could just now lift its weight with one hand. As my samurai, she would give herself to the future empress which was I. She was to be selfless in all her ambitions. In the eyes of the empire, she was no one without a name and only one purpose, to protect me. I never saw her that way and I refused to see her that way. She rushed me inside and called for help. What happened after that was a blur. I know that it was the demons fighting under the demon Virgor. He wished to claim our mother as his bride or destroy everything in the cause of it. At this time, I believed it was I that saved us. I prayed to Heironeous to save us.... Heironeous did save us, but is was our mother's prayers and father's magic that saved us. However, this day created me a new. My roguish ways still remained but I was born as a cleric of Heironeous, Destiney helped me with this as well.
It was in an island that we awoke. It was an island our mother had been to for those that found us knew of our mother. The caring family of Lovelace took us in. I was bitter, I must admit. I was angry about all that had happened and continued in my rogue ways. My sister, however, could tell that a seed within my heart was planted. She helped me become the cleric that I am today. She allowed me to worship Heironeous as father would've wanted of me.
We lived in peace with the Lovelaces for a good seven years. My sister loved them so much, because they treated her as mother did rather than the rest of the empire, that she renamed herself Destiney Lovelace rather than Destiney Warlocke as she was once called. This angered me but I held my tongue.
At our 17th birthday, I could tell that Destiney still had a hard time letting go of her samurai self. As much as I wish to make her live her own life, she would not. She still expressed her desire to find a way back to our realm and make me empress again. It was a dream to me, a place I fell into when I slept but I knew it would never happened and I had excepted it. It was nothing I truly hoped for. My sister, she is a dreamer, whereas I lack the vision. She would've been more suitable to be empress than I. I had the leadership skills to make her dreams real, however, being a leader can be learned. I tried to teach her this but she refused.
The day came when our lives of peace fell there too. This island no longer exists only because the Necromancer ate away at it. The family of Lovelace was killed by the undead that attacked us. At first, I thought it was Virgor's demons, but it was not. My sister and I fought them off the best we could, but could not save our family. In my anger I sought to find the Necromancer that killed our foster family while I commanded Destiney to stay behind and rebuild our home. She wanted to go with me and protect me but she followed my orders. I tracked the undead until it reach the sea. Intrigued by it's greatness I left the island to the other ports. This land was full of undead. This must be the place of my mother's birth. The island where I could sense the undead. This was when I found the land of Peridotia. I could sense that there was some history there. I longed to discover it.

*Zephira leaves the room, leaving her empty chair. A mysterious woman enters the room and takes her seat. Her features show that of an experienced woman. Her hair was pulled back in a pony tail, her bangs hanging in her face. She looks up, her eyes a deep blue with a small hint of purple to them.* Many of you don't know me. *Her voice as gentle as the passing breeze, but sorrow is shown in her voice.* I am the one without a name. I am the light that lurks in the shadows. I am the shadowbane stalker and the demon hunter. I am the Avatar. My given name is Deborah Juno.
My story begins when angels still roamed. It is no telling how old I am now, I have forgotten. My mother was an angel of sorts and my father was a noble paladin. My mother's duties made it impossible for her to take care of me. My father did the best that we could to raise me so needless to say I was a tomboy in my youth. When I became of the age to start my own adventure I decided that I would search for my mother. I took up my skills as a paladin and took to the road. My father was very understanding. When I left, he was the right hand man of the king himself.
The search for my mother went on for several years. I learned the ways of subterfuge only because I enjoyed the game, but it never lead me astray.
Four year passed by and I decided that it was time to go home and see my father. I arrived in time to see the city burned to ashes by several demons. I did some quick asking of those that were around and found out that a demon named Virgor was responsible for this. He was from the demonic realm. I rushed to find my father but it was too late. He was dead, but standing beside him was an angelic creature... the like I had never seen before. At this time I was sickened pale by the blood that I had seen. She lifted her eyes and I was shocked to notice that they were the same deep blue as mine. She told me my destiny did not lay here with my father's death. She told me my future. She told me I was to become great, but to be patient.
I spent the rest of my life devoted to rebuilding the kingdom. After many years I managed to find a living heir and he took the throng. I served at his side for many years, hunting down the demons that threatened to take over, using all my subterfuge to make sure nothing corrupted the kingdom. I was known, in my shadow form as the Avatar. In this form, I was feared. As Lady Juno, many knew me as the servant of Heironeous. I kept the religion in tact.
My life was everything I ever wanted it to be. I began falling in love with a man named Lapidoth. He was second to only me. He was captain of the guard and helped me as I began investigating into a doorway into the demonic world. With his men, we set sail toward the island where this doorway was to be. On the ship he proposed to me and I said yes. It seemed that fate had other plans for us. We entered to caves of doom and inside was the lair of Virgor. He was excepting us and performed the curse that killed us all, except me. I learned later that this was the supremacy curse that he used on many. He is a very charismatic demon who can fool any into evil; however, he knew we would not be easily swayed. The demon himself rarely used this curse because he was so good at seducing others into evil. Most die instantly by this curse, but this day, I do not. A man who looked like a priest, a god, appeared before me. He called me by name. He said there was other use for me and if I would allow him to guide me, he would save me. I held the man I loved in my arms. His body was ridged and his eyes were crimson with blood dripping down his face. I wanted revenge in that moment. I wished to kill all those that served Virgor so I pledged myself to this being who called himself Six (Copied by Nathan Alan.) The crimson in my eyes were the symbol of the curse that was upon me. He raised me as a new being in another realm. He placed me in a divine realm where he kept his faithful Aeons, as he called them, and made me one of them. My life was extended.
It was many years before I entered my home realm again. During this time, Six taught me how to control my emotions. They were the worse years of my life. When I was allowed to see my home realm, I was angry. The whole world had been taken into Virgor's charms. I was mad at Six for not allow me to help. He told me he wanted me to see this so that I would help other realm not share its fate. With my strength, he told me, I would be able to save many others. In that moment he had to re-teach me how to control my emotions. He taught me his laws which were that I was not to change the course of history in the other realms that I was to visit. My use was to make sure that there were no weaknesses for Virgor to exploit. I was to give the people no name to remember me by.
For many year, hundreds, I saved many realms. I saved many lives. I loved many souls. I never fell in love again, but I didn't care. My life had meaning and purpose even though they knew not my name. I heard stories that I was called the saving angel where others called me the meddler. I taught many how to over come Virgor and they saved themselves. One place that I prevented Virgor from entering was the world of Talus. I watched the people and saw the land and swore to myself I would return one day. It was in these years that I mastered the curse. I learned not to let it get to me for long. Virgor tried to make me hate him by killing several of those I had come in contact with. He succeeded but once. My wroth with him was so great that I traveled to his realm and destroyed the one thing he cherished, a black dragon. It was said that this place dragon could take the form of a human woman and would be his lover. It was the one thing that he loved, if he could love. His anger was so strong that he almost over took me that day but I weakened him. He withdrew into his realm. He made feeble attempts to take over several realms but he failed. I spent the rest of my time protecting these realms.
In Six's service, I found another place that was beautiful beyond measure. I decided that this was my home for I fell in love with a man who saved a samurai from being killed. He was named Severus Warlocke. He had dark black hair and dark brown eyes. He looked very much like my first love. He was very charming and I feel in love. Because of my restrictions of interfering in politics, Six granted me life as their race, a race that is as long lived as elves. I became one of them. For my services Six, he gave me white wings and made me celestial.
Severus was the emperor’s son and a great sorcerer. He treated me well and made me his wife. My life with Severus was grand, but I didn't know his dark side until signs of Virgor began appearing in the land. I took up my paladin sword and began fighting demons again. His love for me drove him mad. He asked me to stop. He created large armies in order for me to stop, but I could not, because at this time, I had life growing within me. I didn't want my children to go through the darkness I had to go through. As I fought the curse began getting stronger and then I knew that Virgor was close. I continued my hunting and soon I came in contact with Virgor himself. He expressed his desire to make me his bride. I refused him and he tried to control me, but somehow I broke the curse. I believe because of my conviction for my children, I was able to forsake sorrow and hate. However, something happened within my womb. I couldn't explain it. It was later when Six explained the transformation of one child into two when I finally understood. Inside me, the darkness of my emotions filled, as I see it this was Zephira. When I over came the curse, her cells split, creating Destiney within my good feelings. I know this know as I hear of the rumors of my children that this is a curse I brought upon them. I continue to find a way to make them both have a choice. As of now, as long as one is light the other will be dark and it seems to have chosen that for them because Destiney cannot do any evil. At their birth, their eyes showed that of crimson. Yes, to my everlasting shame, I brought this upon them. Six told me this was but a shadow of the curse that I had. Virgor would not have control over them as much as fate would.
My twins began to grow. Zephira idolized her father. She loved him dearly and wanted to become as he was. He began teaching her leadership and the ways of magic. Destiney wanted to become paladin after hearing my stories. She read up on many gods and decided on Tyr. I warned her of such a god. I didn’t trust such a god that reins with justice without mercy. I believe that this is fake justice. I believe people can return to the light and be forgiven where as Tyr believes differently. She assured me that she could do it so I allowed her to train under this god. Her father expressed his distain of this but I allowed her to continue without his knowledge. This was the beginning of the failure of our marriage. Soon the secrets that were held between us grew bigger. During this time Virgor tried to make things worse for me. He forcefully tried to make me his bride. His torment of me angered Severus because I obsessed about finding a way to destroy Virgor. He told me if I was that into him I should have him.
The all hell rained down on us. Virgor somehow found demons to serve at his side. They came down on our empire and destroyed everything. In my anger, I was foolish. I ran to Severus and asked him if he had anything to do with this. He said that he had struck a deal with Virgor that if he delivered himself and his empire to Virgor that the twins would be free. I told him that he had no idea what he had done. Severus told me he didn’t care and that he would do anything for me. Then Zephira and Destiney entered the room and I prayed for Six to take them away… to take them away from this realm. They vanished and I confronted my husband in front of Virgor. It was an epic battle in which all was destroyed, or so I believed.
In the celestial realms I slept for seven years. I stay there living in dreams that I never had come true. To me, it seemed like my heaven. A voice awoke me… from the world of Talus. It was the voice of a man, pleading on behalf of another. I opened my eyes and found myself inside the home of a man named Eowarar. I knew nothing of him. All I knew was that my daughter Zephira laid on his couch, staring blankly at me. He said her memories were ripped from her mind and hoped that I could help. I asked him who he was and he said he was but a friend. With the power of Six, I was able to pry into her mind and find what was missing and using my own memories I was able to restore her. I received some disturbing imagines of my daughter’s doings. I knew that I had to return to the material world and watch over them. Six granted this to me. I was reborn as a half-celestial in their world. I have helped a group called the Freeblades as well as I have met the man who became my daughter’s, Destiney, husband. He asked that I help them find the realm to Virgor, for he had taken control of Zephira. How this happened, I am still looking into.
Will the battle with Virgor ever end?

(ooc: okay this is some backhistory and actual rp that I did so if I get things wrong... send me a pm... I have done so much rp that I can only put so much of it thanks for reading everyone Enjoy) Greetings my dear friends, This is Destiney. I apologize for my absence but I fear that it cannot be avoided. It seems that forces beyond my control have taken hold. I will explain. Most of my life I have spent getting closer to my goddess, Tyr. The power of justice and freedom was all I could hope for. My dreams were to protect my sister Zephira as she ascended the throng over the empire of our home. I dedicated my entire being to service and loyalty. Sadly, my dream was not to be. Our home was destroyed not only once, but twice. The Warlocke Empire was destroyed and our home with the Lovelace family had come to an end by the hand of a evil Necromancer. Zephira vowed that she would find him. She commanded me to stay there and rebuild the home that I so loved. It was more of an argument with us. I wanted to go with her to protect her but she knew how I felt about our home. She left because of me, I think. We are so connected that she knows what my heart’s desire is without me knowing myself. I can tell she was sick of just hanging around the small town. She was never truly happy there. Yes, tried I did to rebuild our home but all was for not. Undead crawled all around the island so I spent most of my time hunting them. It wasn’t until I found a cryptic note from Zephira before I was truly worried. It said something about her falling into darkness. It said not to come after her but I continued to have nightmares. I saw a dark angel with Zephira’s eyes, our eyes. I didn’t know what it meant. So I took my journey to this place called Peridotia. I arrived by night fall finding several people talking around a large portal. I was eavesdropping when I heard that the man standing in there group knew most of the people in Peridotia. I knew that he was my only chance. I introduced myself and he called himself Mourn. He was a hooded man with dark clothing. Something about him made my skin crawl but I had to take a chance. I asked him about Zephira and his eyes told me he knew something but his words defied that. He said he would look for her. I continued my search only hear echoes of her voice and whispers of her name. Zephira, where could you have gone? I made my way to Lomidoth. It is a large city with many people around. I walked the streets wondering if she had made this same path. I looked up to see Mourn, stand by a railing, looking over the city. “Hello, again.” I said. He gave me a look of which I could not explain in words, a sneer of some kind? “Have you found your sister?” He asked. I shook my head in hopelessness. “I believe I can help you.” He said. “Pray to Foebane and he will guide you.” Something in my stomach told me not to. The name Foebane rang some kind of bell in my mind. As if from a distant dream, Zephira’s dreams? I looked Mourn over before telling him that he should pray to him and have him tell me what Foebane says. Reluctantly he did so and muttered that of a dark path that Zephira was on. Mourn stood and approached. “See.” He grabbed my hand and I saw darkness fill my mind. “NO!” I said as I fell to one knee. “Please stop!” “I only want to reunite you with your sister.” Suddenly someone attacked and we fought them off to find a portal standing before us. I looked at him and we both entered. We entered a chamber with several books and shelves. Standing before us was an undead dragon that was nothing but bones. We fought it really hard but I failed. Mourn saved me before we took a look around. It seemed to be the home of some sorcerer that Mourn used to know. After which we found our way back and I thanked Mourn for saving me. One day a young woman by the name of Jacha approached me. She had long black hair and beautiful red dragon wings. She handed me a note that was from Zephira. There was much in that letter concerning Mourn. It said that Mourn and Foebane were the same person. My heart dropped. It also said that Zephira was in too deep to return which I refused to believe. Jacha and I became good friends. It turned out that her and Zephira were good friends as well. I continued my search. Why was she so hard to find? I read over the note again, in my frustration I wept just as Mourn approached. I gasped, jumping to my feet. “Is something wrong?” He asked. “Mourn!” Jacha called. We stared at each other for a moment. “Is it your sister?” He asked. “Come here, Mourn.” Jacha called again. Mourn sighed and turned to Jacha. “What is it?” My heart was racing as I slowly snuck off. I couldn’t bare it. This was the man that lead my sister down to darkness. How such a man could’ve done that, I know not. He must’ve been very persuasive. I reread the letter, “Protect the stones and Aethil.” I blinked. Who is Aethil? Is searched for the name. I heard only rumors of a great paladin warrior and that he left on a ship. Where is he now? I wondered. I was sitting in Peridotia wondering what Zephira’s next move was going to be. I looked up and saw a man standing on the edge of the sea. His body covered in thick robes and his wings, which I assumed were once beautiful, were tattered and broken. His head was hooded and his shoulders slumped. In my curiousness I asked him who he was. He said he was Aethil. I was shocked. This was not the man I pictured but this was the man Zephira said to protect. He looked like a man that needed protecting so I spoke with him about Zephira’s doings. I explained how Zephira promised herself a servant to a elf named Eowarar in exchanged for Aethil’s safety. This disturbed him. Then I explained my intensions to protect him. He then told me a story of how he was attacked by undead and the stones taken from him. He explained that his body was broken and scarred. He had only been brought back by the powers of grace. I told him that I was a paladin of Tyr and would help him. He tested my skills and said I needed more training. I am grateful to him, he prevented me from going off and confronting Mourn and finding my death. He held out his arm and asked for prove of my paladinhood. I held out my hands and use lay on hands to heal the scars on his arm. “It isn’t much.” I said. “It does look better.” He said. There was a call for warriors and fighters to a great cause. My attempts to find Zephira had left me restless. I decided to join in order to help and feel useful. Mourn was there as they explained the mission of the stones. I explained that I would go if Mourn stayed away from me. A drow woman seconded that. To my surprise the attention Mourn was getting caused for him to be appointed the leader of the mission. I was outraged. I forced myself to put aside my differences for him and continued. The battle was tough but we pulled through with great teamwork. This mission happened over several nights. I rested between the missions at the lake view inn. There I met a man, a very handsome man he was. He greeted me with a smile. He sat down with me as I drank my cup of water. “Would you like to drink something else?” He asked. “Well, I don’t drink acholo.” I told him. He sweetly handed me an apple juice. He said he was curious about me. I went on to tell him about my hunt for Zephira and what she told me in her note. I also told her about the rumors she had heard. I explained my failure as a samurai. I couldn’t believe how I failed my sister. He was kind. He said he wished to know me more. I asked about him and he told me he was a warrior of the Freeblades, a group that fights for freedom. He was Hephaistos Freeblade. I told him that I didn’t know about a relationship… I believed it would get in the way. He persuaded me to try. He learned about him as we trained together. He was a sweet person and very kind. This was it. I was in love, so it seemed. I talked to Jacha about making me a wedding dress. She showed me a beautiful dress just as Hephaistos walked up. She quickly hid it away and I took a walk with him. “What is going on?” He asked. “Nothing.” I replied. “Are you hiding something from me?” He asked. “I would tell you, but I think I am jumping the gun a bit.” “Okay, I will trust you.” He said before drawing close to me. “I have found what I am looking for, Destiney.” He went to one knee hand handed me a ring. “Destiney, will you marry me?” “Yes.” I said without hesitation. He stood up and I told him about the dress and he was speechless. Secretly we ran off to the temple of torm and eloped. Later we married in front of all our friends. Then I was called back to the stone mission and had to leave. With a new found hope running through my veins, I fought beside my comrades not caring about my hatred toward Mourn. Then a vampire came to greeted us. Mourn seemed to know him and the vampire explained that he knew where Mourn’s wife was. I was astonished that a man like that could ever love. I was touched by the story of his love for her, that he would do anything for her. After the battle we returned to Peridotia and I approached Mourn. I told him I would help him get back his wife in the battle to come. We returned to the battle field and we made it through the undead world to a portal guarded by Omega. Mourn entered and out came a demon. Its evil spread through the group and slay most of us. I laid in my own blood cursing myself of letting my current and future husband down. With the healing powers that we had we gathered ourselves and commanded Omega to bring Mourn back. When he did, Mourn was blinded with rage. He almost let a horrible beast into my new home and he didn’t care. He was going to kill the vampire for what he did. I drew my sword on him. I wanted nothing more to do with him. We all fought him and proved our point… but Mourn still wouldn’t listen. My shoulders became heavy with my burdens. I lost Aethil’s respect for trying to help Mourn. I felt I was doing the right thing… but I have failed to protect my sister and almost failed to protect Talus. I will not fail again. I will start by making my husband happy with our children. They are growing inside me. Then my sister… to save her would be to save Talus from another demon. My mother lives! I thought she was dead. Hephaistos found her somehow. Zephira is sick with the demon curse. She might die of it. This can’t be happening. My husband wishes to fight this demon. He cannot. I won’t let him. He must get him to stay behind. I keep having dreams of numbing darkness. The demon is bind by it. What could this mean? I feel my sister slip from my grasp then I feel her hand again and I pull her… dark wings form on her back then she fades. She returns again. Why does she do this? Time has past since then. Zephira’s presences has left me… I feel alone. I feel darkness filling me. I cannot leave my home. I talked to my mother often now. She tells me to meditate… I am not leaving this house until I over come it. I ran into a woman today… I knew her from our other realm… her name is Carmen. She was one of the high end soldiers assigned to protect Zephira just like myself. She has be bringing me meals and helping me with my fever. What am I to do? Hephaistos is gone on business… will my children be okay?

(OOC Okay, I believe this will be my last entry for back histroy anyway. This is Severus Warlocke's side of the story. If anyone is interested in playing him send me a pm. It would make rp Deborah very interesting. Thanks and Enjoy)
Severus Warlocke slowly tugged Zephira into her bed. She had fallen asleep trying to read the book that he had already memorized. The first book you need to read to become a wizard. She so wanted to be like him. In the back of his mind he wished that she wouldn’t idolize him so much. He had his dark secrets that he never wanted his little girl to ever know. He touched her dark black hair. He was the most beautiful thing to him. She looked so much like her mother that is scared him. He kissed her forehead and turned to Destiney who was standing by the door. Her little arms struggling to keep her Katana on her shoulder. It was clear that it was too heavy for her ten year old body. How different Destiney was from Zephira it almost seemed like she wasn’t his child at all. He reached out and touched her pink hair. She looked up at him with dark crimson eyes. “It is time for bed, Destiney.” He muttered darkly. “But I must guard Zephira, our future empress.” A smile curled his lips. He was proud to call her a samurai while at the same time sad that she had to carry the burden of it. “Not tonight.” He said. “You are not her bodyguard yet.” He said. “Yes, I am. I am old enough to protect her.” She said forcefully. “Young samurai listen to the emperor.” He replied. “Yes, father.” She said reluctantly and laid her sheathed sword onto the hanger on the wall. She covered herself in the blankets but she squirmed as she did so. He could tell that she was still full of energy. He watches to make sure they were both asleep before he gripped the door and swung it to close it, but stopped with the door partly open. He stared at Zephira. His grip on the door handle trembled. “Close the door.” He told himself. “Close the door.” He slowly closed the door. His heart sank as he thought of his daughter… in his mind, his only daughter. She was so much like her mother that it sickened him. To him, Deborah was everything. She didn’t seem to realize this. He walked to his throng and sat upon it as the light of the moon shined down in the sky view onto his seat. He taps his foot as he waited. He sighed deeply as his eyes grew heavy. “Tired of waiting for her?” A voice from the darkness said. Severus stiffened. “It’s you.” “Yes, it is I.” Slowly a slim figured entered the moonlight. It was a hooded man with dark clothing on. His face was covered but under his flowing cape stretched large bat wings. Glowing red eyes, like that of a raging flames, stared at Severus. “I thought you said you weren’t sending any more demons. I thought we had a deal.” “That we did, but you have yet to give me what I want.” “I told you before, I will not give up Zephira.” The demon sneered. “And yet you want to give up Destiney, your blessed one?” Severus lowered his head. “She doesn’t adore me as Zephira does. I have made Zephira my successor.” He eyes the demon. “She is my heir.” The demon smirked. “Why do you need an heir if you have no kingdom?” “I thought the deal was to allow me to serve you as the emperor of this realm.” “You will, if you show you your obedience.” “How will I show your obedience?” The demons flaming eyes narrowed. “Give me Deborah.” “No!” Severus replied. “You can’t have both. With Deborah, you can make another heir, with Zephira you need no wife.” “I do this for Deborah. Please don’t make me choose!” The demon sneered as he opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. He then heard the clicking of delicate feet on the marble floors. Severus turns to see the shadow of his wife enter the room. She put a hand on her hips in disapproval. “Whomever are you shouting at?” She said as she slowly removed her cloak to reveal her beautiful, almost blinding white wings. She stretched them to their full length as she let out her hair from its bun. Her jet black hair flowed down her back as she turned her mystic eyes to him. He could not keep his eyes off her. She had been gone for months without word. He spent many restless nights wondering if she would ever return. Her eyes caught the moonlight. They were a deep blue with a hint of the red color they used to be. A sign that demon’s control over her was missing for the moment. His anger melted away by simply looking at her. He couldn’t stay mad at her. His anger turned into sorrow. Why did she have to stay out so long? He touched the fair skin on her cheek. She was as pale as the moon. Her cheeks flushed in his touch. “I am sorry.” She knew how to read his expressions by now. “I had a hard time convincing a demon that he could trust me. He has been dwelt with. That realm will be safe now.” “You do not have to safe everyone. You have a family now.” She roughly removed her gloves, showing a gold ring on her finger. It was not the wedding ring he had given her. She backed up as he gripped her wrist. “What is this?” He held her hand up to show it to her, as if she needed reminding. She removed her hand from his and stepped back. “It is a reminder of who I am fighting for.” She removed the ring from her left finger and slowly placed it on the change that was around her neck. Severus gritted his teeth. “When are you going to let go of the past. You dishonor me!” He exclaimed. Deborah sighed. “I told you that my life is not my own.” “You are lying. Your god granted you this life to live as your own and yet you still continue this endless battle.” She eyed him knowingly. “I cannot rest until Virgor is gone. Who knows if he will be able to control our children.” Severus gripped her shoulder. “He can’t or he would’ve done it already.” “I don’t expect you to understand, Severus.” She turned to leave but he held her arm. “Deborah, don’t walk away from me.” He pleaded. “If this demon means more to you than me, then I am afraid you have lost your family.” “I do this for my family.” She said. “No! You do it for a dead man that you loved long ago. You do not do this for me or for Zephira or Destiney. You do it for him!” He shouted. “If I don’t stop this demon, who will?” “I would if you let me.” She freed herself from him and turned a bit. “You are no match for him.” She turned and walked away. Severus gritted his teeth and words burst out of his mouth as he raised his hands in the air and a large ring of fire surrounded them. Deborah stopped just before hitting the flames and turned and looked at Severus disapprovingly. “Anger will get you no where, Severus.” She turned and reached into her bag and pulled out a rod of dispel and used it on the flames in front of her. The fire slowly vanished around them and she walked off leaving him in the dark, alone. His anger grew. Demon tugged at his mind. “You love her… you want her as yours forever without demons, without disruption. Give your children to me and she will be forever yours in your paradise.” Severus raised his head, gritting his teeth. “Allow me to keep Zephira. Deborah is lost to me.” He lied. “Daddy?” A young sleepy voice was heard from the hall. Severus turned his head to see little Zephira standing in the hall in her little night gown. Severus turned his head back to see that the demon had gone. He didn’t realize that the demon had gone away in the same manner when Deborah entered the room. He stared blankly at the empty space. He turned to Zephira and walked slowly toward her. “I heard voices.” She said softly. He reached down and swept her up into his arms. “Daddy was just thinking… what would you say if we went away for a while?” Zephira tilted her head, her black hair dipping into her crimson eyes. “Where would we go?” “Any place you want to go.” He said. He reached out his hand and a glowing portal appeared only a foot away from his feet. “I can teleport us to any where in this world, just you and me.” He looked at her. “What do you say?” “Can Destiney and mommy come too?” She asked innocently. His heart sank. He hadn’t expected that she would ask for such a thing. His features relaxed. “Sure, they can come, but we need to go first before they can come, to build the house.” Zephira eyed him. It seemed as if she didn’t fully understand. He smiled at her. “Go ahead. This one only leads to your room.” Zephira giggled. “You are silly, Daddy.” She jumped down and ran to the portal and turned to him and as she faded away she said, “I love you, Daddy.” He waved. “I love you too, Zephira.” His voice faded into a whisper. It hit him what he had done. He knew that demon as well as Deborah, for she had told him much. He wondered if the demon was really going to allow him to keep his daughter.
Zephira ran around in the fields where the cherry blossoms where falling. She ran giggling happily after Destiney who ran with her samurai sword on her back to build her strength. Zephira ran to the front of the fields where stairs to the inside of the palace laid before her. She turned to see if she could find her sister. Her little body was out of breath. Her little smile faded as she saw the fires falling from the sky. She froze wondering if her father was doing it. “Zephira! I am here! Zephira?” Destiney called out. She slowly walked up to her sister and followed her gaze to see the fire falling from the sky. Suddenly fire ball crashed into the trees, setting them aflame. Zephira stood and watched as a large winged creature with black horns and muscular black body landed heavily on the ground before them. Destiney gripped her sister’s hand and ran her inside.
Deborah stared around, feeling all the darkness and evil surrounding the palace. She walked into the throng room where Severus was standing. She stopped abruptly and stared at him with wide eyes. “What have you done?” She said feeling the evil surrounding him. Severus turned just as a large creature landed behind him. It dug its talons into the marble floor as it cracked under its weight. It head was that of a hollowed dragon skull with black skin. Down its spine were large spikes as he extended his large bat wings with an aura of darkness seeping off of him. The creature opened its eyes with a fiery red staring at Deborah possessively. It curled it jagged tail around himself as he sat like an obedient dog. “It is always good to behold your face, Lady Juno.” "Virgor.” Deborah’s eyes narrowed as she drew her sword slowly from her side. “Mommy!” Shouted Destiney as he ran in with Zephira trailing behind her. Destiney stopped, gasping at the large creature standing before them. Severus’s eyes widened. He held out his hand as he lowered himself to the ground. “Zephira, it is time for our journey.” Severus said. “Daddy? What is going on?” “Take your place at my side as the next empress.” “No!” Virgor snarled. His force turning into a large ball of darkness before forming into a man. His skin was pale and his hair was dark black, his eyes flaming fire. His form was very charismatic as his cape flows behind him. “I am sorry, Severus, I have come for your daughter.” Severus turned to Virgor. “What?” “She has the powers that can go beyond you and even her mothers. Her blood will fall upon the alters of my temples throughout the realms of the universe.” “Over my dead body!” Destiney said as she drew the Katana that was strapped to her back. She held the blade as she trembled barely able to carry its weight. Virgor laughed loudly. “You think you can stop me, little girl.” Destiney narrowed her eyes, holding the sword higher. “Enough!” Deborah shouted. “Severus, you are the medium of the demon to this realm. I must defeat you if he is to be removed.” Severus turned to Deborah with his eyes widened. “Mommy!” Zephira screamed. “NO!” Deborah turned to Zephira. “This man is not your father any more.” Zephira trembled as her eyes narrowed. “I hate you, Mommy! You were never around for us!” Deborah’s eyes widened and turned to Virgor. “There is the anger I have been looking for.” He sneered before shooting his hand out, facing his palm toward the twins. A sonic boom hit them. Destiney slid into Zephira, struggling to keep her sword up. The blade hit the ground and she raised it again and glared at Virgor as tears of blood running down her face. Destiney saw Virgor sneer as she heard whimpering from behind her. She turned her head slowly to see Zephira gripping her head. “Zephira?” Zephira fell to one knee and stared up at Destiney with fire in her eyes and bloody tears falling down her cheeks. Destiney dropped her sword and gripped Zephira, lifting her up and struggled to pick up her sword again. “Zephira!” Cried Severus as he went to run to her. Deborah took that moment to plunge her sword into his chest. Severus groaned in agony and looked up into her eyes. She stared at him with indifferent eyes. Her red lips formed the words, “I’m sorry.” “NO!” Virgor screamed and a burst of energy exploded from him and her sword burst into pieces as Severus fell to the ground. Deborah caught him in her arms. She gripped him tightly, feeling the sorrow of her loss. Virgor sneered. “Yes. Embrace the sorrow, my love.” He laughed lowly. Deborah closed her eyes and took several deep breaths before looking at him with cold violet eyes. “Be gone, Virgor.” “Not without the prize of my efforts.” His dark aura was beginning to vaperize from him as he held out his hand. “You are my bride. Come with me and I will not harm your children.” She eyed his hand, knowing he was not a demon of his word. She lowered her head and charged her energy as an Aeon, allowing her husband’s body to fall to the ground. She stood before Virgor in her glowing glory. “Six, take my children to safe place.” She said. A bright light surrounded the twins. Destiney step forward crying her mother’s name before they disappeared. Deborah then turned to Virgor as her light grew brighter. Virgor stared back in his anger then screamed loudly and Deborah held up her arms as a fiery blast took everything, even stripping her of her godly powers and melting her body into nothingness.
“Deborah.” A voice from the dark sounded. Severus opened his eyes. He stood up and looked around at the darkness and in the distance he saw a beam of light. It was blinding but he ran for it. He smelt her for an instant before appearing on a glowing portal. He looked around to see he was at the edge of a coast line. The warm rain poured down on him. The night had surrounded this small island. He turned to see a woman sitting in the grass. She stared at the sea at the edge. Her wings were dark as she stared with blankness in her eyes. "Hello.” He said. She turned to him, almost the splitting imagine of his once wife. Her eyes were a dark crimson as she stared him indifferently. His heart sank as he remembered that Deborah looked at him in that same way. This was not Deborah, but everyone reminded him of her. He looked down at his chest, no hole where he was stabbed, but a broken heart remained. He was determined to get her back and make her understand. He looked back at the woman. “Where is this place?” “Talus.” She whispered. “Who are you?” Her eyes narrowed as if she recognized him for a second. “I am Severus Warlocke. Who are you?” “Shadowbane.” She replied.

The jagged edge of a glowing red sword pointed at the tip of Severus's nose. He panted heavily as the blood on his face dried. He was chained to a wall, his clothing torn. Virgor, in his human form, stood before him with the sword in his hand. His flaming red eyes staring as he victim. "Do you think I saved you because you were a faithful servant?" Virgor said. Severus panted heavily. "I am sure that is not the case." He gritted his teeth. "If you want me dead you better do it then." Virgor lowered his sword and turned his back to him. "Not until you tell me where they are." "I told you, I don't know!" Virgor slashed in the air and the red light of the sword hit Severus in the chest, causing a large gash. "You were in some realm. What were you doing there?" Severus groan in pain as he tried to withstand the sting. Virgor drew in close to Severus, his breath blowing on his face with the smell of death, brimstone and death. "You will only make things worse for them. You know that if I find them, they will suffer much more than if you do tell me." Severus turned his dark eyes to Virgor. "I found someone familiar there." "Explain." Virgor demanded. "She called herself Shadowbane. She was but a spirit but I made her real. I helped her find her master." "You are a necromancer after all." Virgor rubbed his chin. "Where is this place?" "Talus..." He moaned. "Now let me rest." Virgor sneered at Severus. "You shall rest." He put the blade to his chin and lifted his head up. "You shall share the same fate to all those the defy me." He laughed manically. "A slow and painful death."

The field of grass, once beautiful and vibrant now a black filed of ash. The once azure sky was now a dark grey with no sign of sun. The wind blew the black ash around causing the fair skin Zephira to cough heavily. She sat with her legs huddles close to her body, her arms wrapped around them. She stared around scared and shivering. She wrapped her cape around her. “Jonah?” She said loudly but the air seemed to absorb her voice. She gasped for air as the ash blew in her face. She squinted her deep blue eyes as she saw someone in the distance. A dark figure approaching. She cuddled herself, knowing who it was. Her anger rising as the figure came into view. A woman with long black hair and pale skin extended her jet black wings as she approached. She wore a long robe with wicked spikes coming from the top. The ash danced around her armored boots. Her wings flapped lightly as she walked which stirred up more ash. She didn’t seem affected by the pitch black ash as she stood before Zephira, staring indifferently down her nose at her. “It is time.” Shadowbane said darkly. Zephira hugged herself. “Why won’t you let us love him?” “Why ask the question when you know our answer?” Zephira stared at the blacken ash at Shadowbane’s feet. “I didn’t want this. I thought I could make him not feel so alone, but I should’ve thought about Jonah first. Why am I such a fool?” Shadowbane kneels down to Zephira. “It is time to let go. You know there is no turning back. We gave up ourselves so that a greater evil will not enter this world. Accept your fate.” Zephira lowers her head into her knees. “You know that this wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted to free him then return to my love. To return to my first love and live out my days raising his children.” “Is that what you really wanted or is that what we really wanted?” Shadowbane says darkly. Zephira stared up at her as if shocked by her question. “You never loved him?” “You know why I have existed. I have existed long before Mourn’s influence. Your father created me and gave me life. Do you think you would’ve turned out any differently had our home not be destroyed?” “You are wrong! I would have been a great ruler. There would’ve been no suffering among my people!” “That can still be true now.” Shadowbane said, standing up and crossing her arms. “Regardless, there is not turning back. Now is the time. You must be removed forever.” Zephira’s hands tightened around her legs as her jaw clenches. “Why must I be removed?” Shadowbane stared down at her coldly. “Because you are the weak link in our chain of power, for that will be your fate. Your light will be extinguished. That is what you offered me.” She said vengefully. “Was it not you that offered me destruction first? Zephira bottom lip trembled and a tear ran down her cheek. “I suppose you find this funny.” Shadowbane smirked. “I find this very amusing, yes. The cruel irony of it all is that your greater side will prevail.” Zephira slowly stood up. “You may remove me but my imprint will always be here and you will call for me when Vigor returns.” “What makes you say that?” Shadowbane eyes her with interest. “Because you were created not by father or even by Foebane, as you may think. You were created by the demon we hate so. I know this because Destiney has the same thing. Soulbane… and she is sustained by our twin link. Should Destiney sever it you would not exist.” Shadowbane’s eyes narrowed. “She would never do that for she knows that it could mean death.” Zephira stared back with coldness. “So be it. I would rather die than give up hope.” Shadowbane hissed. “Your hope will cease to exist.” She pulled out her great sword and slashed Zephira and her form turned to black dust. “All those who defy me will share in your fate.” Shadowbane then looked down at a small growth in the ground. It looked like a vine that just peek the surface. She reached down and touched it and heard a whisper. “Set me free.” Shadowbane’s eyes widened. “Never.” She hissed.

Destiney stood before a mirror. She looked into it with her deep blue eyes, a symbol of her freedom. As she stared in the mirror the person looking back at her was far different from her own. The eyes staring back at her were a deep crimson fire. The hair that was a hot pink, inside the mirror, was a deep red. Her figure was beautifully vain. The samurai she left behind stood before her. Tears ran down Destiney's face as her mind went over the things Jonah said to her. "Do you want her back that badly?" She asked him. Selfish for a monk, so it seemed, "I would do anything for her." "Then I will do what is necessary." She replied. But as Destiney works her way through her sister's mind, she sees that it is going to be much harder than she thought. Perhaps maybe she might even have to remove memories of Mourn completely. Maybe even all memories of love in order for her to cope with the sacrifice that she is about to make. However, this would mean that she would not remember her, or her mother or father, even Jonah. Could this be the sacrifice that is truly made? She lowers her head as tears ran down her face. She draws her sword and in one fluid motion she breaks the mirror, the shares of her old self reflecting in them now. Soulbane exits the frame of the mirror and looks at her old self. Her wings flame up in a white flame. "What do you wish of me?" Soulbane asked in a haunting voice. "Your mission," Destiney sniffs as she tears run down her cheeks, "is to take down Shadowbane and find Zephira." "You want me to kill Shadowbane?" She eyes her suspiciously. "I was created for her." "You are not to destroy her completely, just enough so that Zephira's light can show through." Destiney lifts her hand. "Give her this." A small bead of light shines in her hand. Soulbane takes it and looks at her. "What is this?" "It is what is left of Zephira, the part I have saved. I hope it is enough to make her happy." Soulbane looked at her. "What will happen to us?" "Fulfill your mission and we shall see what happens. We are to protect Zephira at all costs, now our soon to be emperor Jonah." Soulbane nods. "Yes, we must."

Shadowbane's hand dropped, lifeless. Her body turned into ashe. From the dark ashe a bright flame shined through. Large feathery wings extended, burning a white hot flame. Out of the ashes the phoenix arose. With her fiery red hair growing down her shoulders. Her eyes burning of hell fire and her lips a dark red with her fairly tan skin. She slowly stood with her body covered in a dark red body suit. She slowly shook of the ashes of her dead darksided sister, falling at her feet. She held out her hand and the ashes slowly formed into a ball of darkness in her hand. With only the slightest regret she said, "Goodbye and be well, my sister. Will you even remember me?" She then manipulated the darkness that was left of Shadowbane and takes in the feelings that will help her in her change. Her aura of fire turned to a dark maroon as she struggled with it. She fell to one knee and crushed the feelings that she did not desire. She slowly rose to her feet and held her head tall. "My mission is complete and my new purpose has begun."

Flashes of hot fire and the lurking shadow was all she remembers of her dark past. Zephira Warlocke opened her eyes, not remembering the sacrifice that her sister had made for her, nor remembering the one she had once loved, Mourn. She did not remember the pain or the betrayal, nor could she remember the little halfing that she brought into the fold. The darkness she once had was gone and all that was left was the broken memories of her past. She lives in a fantasy world where all that exists is the love of her life, an over protective monk name Jonah and the children that she had with him, Zebulun and Zack, the twins and young Zephir who had taken a liking to Marin, that hafling that lived only a crossed Peridotian village. The candide talk Jonah had with her only brought back memories of her nemus, the demon Virgor and the memories tied to them. However, she is haunted by the shadow of a memory, one she cannot remember. "This doesn't seem real." She wonders to herself. She longs to stay and enjoy this joy for she feels a hint of the sadness that was once her's to own. A promise, she must remember now. She must remember that she will always be loved by her dearest monk, no matter what her past, but will she see it that way if she remembers.

"Give it all to me." Mourn's voice echoed in Soulbane's head. The burning rage filled her body as she slashes her blades about the dummy inside the training hall where she spent most of her nights. "Why did he have to mess with it?!" She shouted angrily. "But you feel it, my dear." He said, remembering what he said to her. "You can't have it!" She shouted. She finished slashing the dummy for the last time as she fell to her knees, touching her hand to her chest. "You can't have it." She said in an almost whisper. She closed her eyes. Everything that was her belonged to Mourn except her heart and it was something that she couldn't allow. She searched her mind to figure out what exactly it was. Deep inside her heart lied the truth of everything. It revealed her deep loathing and hatred for Mourn. He was the first person that she ever felt that way about. She knew what she had to do when it all happened. Her hate for Mourn would have to end but all she did was lock it away inside her heart along with her hatred for herself because of what she had become. She was angry with Zephira for making her become this, for her selfishness. Now that Mourn is free and all that is left is what he plans to do; it brought into question why she bothered serving him. However, she knews that she couldn't turn back, to do so would be dishonorable. She sheathed her blades and pulled out the wakazashi that she held onto from when she was a child. The one she learned from. She held it to her chest, in the manner a Samuari would if they were to end the pain of a wounded pride. She stared at the blade unsure of what she was doing; as if all that was happening was just a nightmare. Her mind started going over all the reasons she shouldn't do it. Mourn was going to restore the ideals of her empire. He was going to create the world she so longed for. "Is that the only reason?" She said out loud. The reason she served him in the first place was to free her sister and to protect her from him. However, who would protect what is left of Destiney from him. "She is gone." She looked inside herself. "Yes, the ideals that were Destiney were gone." Her loyalty for Mourn remained and yet he wanted more than she could give. "Destroy the heart?" She asked out loud. "End it all." She closed her eyes. "And die in dishonor. I gave up a god for what; a shadow and the love a sister?" She lowered the blade. "I have choosen my fate." She sighed softly. "However, this will not be enough for Mourn." She lowered her face into her hand and sobs. Then she realized how useless it was she stopped. "This is just a bump in the road, nothing more." She picked up the blade and tucked it away.

Though the connection between the twins was severed, the curse that was shared between them was still pending. It called forth the great and everlasting opposition that was the curse of their blood. Little did the twins know that with this curse coursed the blood of the demon Vigor. Vigor sat in his realm listening to the opposite affects that were occurring to the two twins. Zephira, which was once the flow of the darkness that used to be in Deborah’s heart, the light now flowed through her. Zephira’s sister, Destiney, the darkness flowed through her and she was no longer the paladin of light. He moved a hand and a small ball of darkness appeared. On one side was Zephira bathed in light as she sat inside her lonely house. She was crying which put an evil smirk on Vigor’s face. He then looked to the other side of the dark orb where Destiney, or Soulbane as she called herself now, stood by the edge of an underground lake. She was laughing, almost hysterically. He smirked at the idea that light brought such sadness while darkness brought such joy. He swirled his hand around the orb and Soulbane’s imagine remained. He leaned forward in his throne to get a better look at her. Soulbane was radiating heat from her phoenix wings. Her flaming red hair ran down her back wildly as her head was tilted back in her extreme laughter. She was in a red gown which did not come close to the redness in her hair. Her tail swayed back and forth in her pleasure. “What could make the phoenix so… happy?” He wondered. Such an emotion he could not tap into for sadness and anger was all he could use to manipulate souls. This emotion was a mixture of several things, that of which he could not twist. Anger was one of them, but it was as if she was laughing because the anger was failing to corrupt her. He tried to reach into her, but her will was too strong. He would have to enter the realm and he had no connection to it anymore. He leaned back in his chair. He would have to be content to watch. Soulbane could not sense that the scrying eyes of a demon were watching her. She had entered the underground lake, putting her feet in the water. At first she simply giggled until finally the emotion burst from her. She could not stop laughing. She knew she was laughing rather loudly that she might draw Mourn’s attention, but she did not care. She had to let it out. She began laughing so hard that she started to cry. The hot tears flowed down her face as she fell back onto her back, spreading her wings on the floor; the heat of them distorted the air around her. She stopped as she panted lightly. Why am I so happy? She thought to herself. She then smiled as if she knew the answer. “I have everything I need…” her voice hisses, echoing softly around the cave, “…everything I want.” She says as she closed her eyes. The flames that burned inside her were comforting. It was the very thing she wanted and she was going to hold onto it as tightly as she could. The hate of her fate vanished. Her hatred for her sister vanished as well. She opened her eyes. “I have what you couldn’t get.” She said to her sister in the air. The thought made her laugh again. She laughed so hard that she curled up in a ball and the tears flowed again. The fear was gone and so was the anger. She was as free as her master now. There was nothing that could stop her.

(as if this story can get more complicated, I find another way to do so, enjoy XD)
The statue stood on top of the watery room. The water flowed upward as if defying gravity. The statue seemed unaffected by the water at all, as if it was untouched its black marble surface. The statue was the shaped like a black crow. It was a rather large and heavy thing. It had its wing spread out and its talons latching onto a log. The statue didn’t seem to be able to stand as it were. The laws of physics would defy such a thing.
Then a shining light flashed over the statue. It vanished from the room and reappeared on Battle Island. It stood, looking over the graves of the long dead. Beside the statue laid a body. Zephira’s body laid headless on the ground as if she had willingly gone to the beyond. A purple orb of light flew softly from her body and into the statue. Then the statue molded and shaped itself into a woman as she lied on the ground with her hands neatly on her stomach as if in death herself. Soon the black marble faded and her skin turned a light ivory and her lips a soft pink. Her hair turned a deep purple with one strand in front of her face that was pitch black. Her body was covered in a white grown. She lied lifeless on the ground.
Suddenly she gasped as her cheeks flushed and her blood began to flow with the beating of her heart. Her chest heaved as it was not used to breath. She slowly opened her eyes as her lips smacked together in their need for sustainance. Her eyes are pale at first as the color of deep purple flowed into them. Her pupils shrank as the light hit them and she groaned as she held a hand up to the sun. “Ugh… not again.” She said as the memories started flooding into her mind. A light then slowly flowed from Zephira’s body and around the woman’s neck. The voice of Zephira flooded her head as the light turned into a silver amulet around her neck. “Azulelette.” Said a voice inside her head. “Your task is great this time.” The male voice boomed in her head. “Isn’t it always?” She grins. “You know what to do.” Replied the voice. “Yes, yes, of course I do.” She slowly sat up. “Do you mind giving me some food or something before you leave?” Suddenly a bowl of soup appeared in her lap. “Thanks” She smiles. “You will be given more time on this quest. You will receive a port to and from the 7th layer of hell.” She sips the soup and coughs loudly as her body is not used to such foreign things. “Woah, one part I haven’t been to yet.” “You will also be going to the 9th level to do a blocking for me.” She coughed again. “You mean to tell me that even after I restore the soul I have to cut off a demon from their power source. Whoever it is won’t be happy.” She exclaimed cheerfully. “You know who it is. This soul will help you block him.” “Woah! Do you mean Vigor?!” “Indeed.” She jumped to her feet. “So is Deborah here! I would love to see her again.” “Seek her out. She is here.” “Great.” She turned and fell on her face. “Recover your strength and do what you do best.” She holds up a finger. “As you wish, Six.” The booming voice vanished and Azulelette finally stood up and looked over the amulet. She flicked it with her finger. “Hello? Anyone home?” “Who are you?” Zephira’s voice said inside Azulelette’s head. “Tell me your name.” She said. “You first…” Zephira replied. She sighed. “A stubborn one huh? Well… I hate to say it, Miss, but this will only take longer. I’ll have to go by your memories I get in my sleep and that will just take too much time so let’s just start with the basics. What is your name hmm?” “Zephira Warlocke.” “WHAT?!” She falls over. “Do you mean as in Severus Warlock?” “That is my father.” Zephira replied. Azulelette fell on her back and wacked her head. “Ow! So… you’re Deborah’s daughter?” “Yes.” Zephira relied sadly. She sighed. “Man… this is going to be my worse one yet. Okay… let’s start with how did you die?”
