Well, in a nutshell - not much. The early part of the week is the time where I can invest a good deal of time in T2. Right now I'm looking at some basic questing and giving consideration to areas between cities, so not much building, as it were, is being done.
But that's today. I may find that I get where I want to be in no time flat and build like crazy. You just don't know, do you?

It turns out some minor things with CRAP were not working, and that led to some observations on my part on the whole problem of hidden containers and items not working. I spent a good part of Tuesday testing and investigating the situation further. I also discovered that I cannot get them to work in a shell module using the CEP scripts, as opposed to the modified ones we use on Talus. So there isn't something in our scripting that's torpedoing the hidden stuff.
I think this weekend I'll chat again with Lanthar about it and see if we can narrow down what's going on with the scripting. If it can be made to work that opens up enormous options for our adventuring on both T1 and T2.
I'm almost ready to test some merchants but before I do I wanted to deal with what is inside the Hammerfall fortress and mountain, in terms of layout. I'm also sketching out something that I hope players will find interesting within the labyrinths of the Hammerfall mountain and mines.
I have low level adventuring up for the halfling village, and I will continue that for Northport and Valahna this weekend. All four of these cities will form roughly a geographical circle. Within and around the circle will be stuff for levels 1-15 (maybe 20; sub-epic. We'll see). Adventure beyond that circle and things get harder. That's my game plan, anyway.

BW, thanks for keeping us up todate.
I know several of us are eager to check out T2.

I've asked Lanthar about the hidden stuff again but it may be a bit before we come around to it. That's ok; there's lots to do in the meantime.
I'm working on the Hammerfall city exteriors as we speak...I say exteriors, but it's underground so....In any case, I just about have the layout I want and I'll do interiors. Then I need to get the interiors of the other cities off and running, and then do paid transportation. Then I will do low level encounters around all the initial cities.
Things are humming along and we might have the beginnings of a solid module by the end of the month. More to come! I'll have some pics if things are looking really cool.

Working hard on Hammerfall right now. I have a layout, and I've set up guards and some basic military/city NPCs. Next I'm doing interiors and getting the first level of the mine laid out.
Hammerfall will cost 50 gold to get in if you're not a dwarf. Other home cities will have similar costs based on racial lines.
The outsider city - Valahna - will obviously not have little goodies like this that necessarily entice you to choose a non-major race. What is will have is much more in the way of class and alignment based merchants and quests, so that will even things out to an extent.
Hammerfall will probably take most of this week to get squared away enough to upload it to T2. Then I will return to Northport and finish the interiors, do merchants and major NPCs, and get the low level areas in and around the city done so that it can be uploaded to T2.

Not much happened in the last few days; been busy over here. Right how I'm working on Hammerfall interiors and then I'll set up the city factions...being that I have Hammerfall guards lurking about >.> ... After that I'll put in the first level of the mine at Hammerfall and that will be ready for upload to T2. (Note - there will not be CNR resources in the first level of the Hammy mine. You're not getting at it that easily! ) Next will be finishing up the Northport areas and doing interiors and merchants there. Next will be doing the connecting areas/roads between Crescent Bay, Northport, and Hammerfall. 90% of the connecting areas between Crescent Bay and Valahna are already in place.

I'm still working on Hammerfall shops and interiors. It's starting to pick up, but it's slow going at the moment because I'm creating templates now for merchants and stores that can be easily modified in other cities. That means I'm having to think out and test what is easiest, which is slow going right now, but I'll be spending a fraction of the time when I do merchants in other cities. As far as testing goes, merchants are working like a charm. City defender factions are set up and will be in place.

This last weekend was not productive because of Sunday; I was up all night Saturday then had to be at a baby blessing on Sunday morning, then spent the rest of Sunday with my 12 year old daughter for her birthday; just me and her. So after being up for some 30 hours it was time to get rest and T2 just weren't in the picture, as it were. After work today I expect to make some significant progress on T2 in the next couple of days.

This morning I am working on the bank at Hammerfall, so in actuality I'm working on all the banks and looking into what it takes to implement a 10% fee on deposits. *Update* Waiting on word from Lanthar...Because this interacts with the database and gold will be at a premium, I've asked him about the best way to script this. That, and I don't want to spend a lot of time fixing screwups when I could be building.

I'm finishing the bank stuff today, so that all major cities will have banks. It will cost 10% of your gold to deposit it. You'll want to do that at some point because of gold encumbrance issues. Storing items in the bank vault will cost 100 gold * number of levels you are. A level 7 character needs 700 gold to store items. At this point there will be no persistent player storage outside of the banks. Yeah, it's going to force some hard choices, but that's the point.

I'm mostly done with the initial work on Hammerfall. I know where I want to go next as far as the mines are concerned, and I just need to add a bit more color and quests to it.
I'm now working on Valahna. It's going to be a major city in that anyone can start there so I'm going to really pound the keys and get things going there. I'm dealing with my ideas on sewers and their layout at the moment.

In the last two weeks I've had to work extra days and so my building time has been very much impacted by that. Then yesterday I decided to look at the PC Scry issue on T1, and spent a few hours working with that before giving up and going to sleep. I think I know what is the next thing to be looking at, though, so all is not lost; after all, everything works on T2 so it should work on T1. I've just had to backtrack where I was at.
I tabled that today to work on T2, which I am working on right now. I'm working again on the Valahna exterior areas, and they are almost there. I'm now working on interiors and setting up where shops, the bank, and other basics will be.

Working on Valahna. I should have the majority of the major stuff for it done by the end of the weekend and then next week will be Northport. Even when you know exactly where everything is and what you want to do, there is still a lot of tedium in building. Compound that with having home cities! Even so, when they're in and we're talking connecting them and bringing together low level areas, it should come out very nice. I'll post a few update pics of Valahna this weekend.

LordofWorms' Fantasy Interiors aren't doing what I'd like in terms of basic layout and I'm puzzled why, so I sent him a message and I'm waiting on the reply. It has everything to do with how I decide to use his interiors so I'm working on areas outside of Valahna that follow up on a plot that I have in mind, and I will be connecting outer areas with Crescent Bay.
