T2 is in the beta stage at the moment. Please post what you think are T2 bugs here so that I can immediately fix them (If they are in fact bugs ).

Serverstatus2 does not show PCs or DMs logged into T2. Lanthar has been messaged about the problem.

Bugs or just personal preference, its your choice but here is what I have noted.
Valahna - East Bounty Office in conversation with bounty guy: At the top he lists existing bounties but the font is small and in dark blue. I actually missed it the first 2 times because the words below it stood out more. (script adjustment)
Valahna - East Bounty Office in conversation with NPC bounty guy: The more visible words mention in the above conversation say to look at the bounty board for current bounties offered. There is no bounty board I could see inside or outsite. (object placement)
Valahna - Forest East 2 Elven Rangers They were imediately red/hostile to me upon transition into the area. I ran back to the Bounty office once the rangers attacked me with bows. Inside the Bounty Office all 3 of the NPC were red/hostile. The only thing I can think of is the 3 squirels i killed in the forest 1 map 5-10 min before encountering the elven rangers in the next area. (faction issue) I logged out for several hours; the faction of squirrels and NPC was still red/enemy for me. Death was the only reset.
Valhana - East Pumphouse NPC Morphrey Figgleparsoph conversation: He offers & i accept to go into the sewers to look whats causing the gum up of the sewers. 1st encounter in the middle of the area was 2 tiny spiders. I ran upstairs incase I had to get away;They followed. NPC and I are fighting spiders, NPC gets the weaker tiny spider & has almost killed it. I switched my focus on other tiny spider "wraith spider- tiny" (which is not the same kind as the easier one). The wraith spider hits me twice., i get poisoned & reduced constitution. I hit the spider twice. NO DAMAGE, this tiny spider has a DR10. Thats right, unless I crit hit I cannot hurt it. NPC kills lesser spider, joins in fight with wraith. he cannot penatrate the DR10 either. I die 2 times. Lose all my worldy 16xp from 2 rats i killed in an apartment earlier. I would have lost gold too but i only had 1 gp so death felt pitty and let me keep it. I finally on my 3rd attempt get a pair of crits on the tiny wraith spider (why had shifted focus to the only living thing in the room (NPC) after about 5 minutes of hacking at it with my longsword. (Far overpowered encounter right off the bat)
Valhana - East Pumphouse: Finally having killed the wraith tiny spider i got 16xp. Lost 12xp (aka.. all my xp) being killed by it in the first place. I get 16xp for killing owls which are far less powerful. (CR of wraith spider - Tiny not equal to the danger)
Valhana - East Temple: Would like to see more lighting inside; very difficult to see the stairs area between the two levels. (personal preference not a bug)
Valhana East- Haunted House Secret door is working in one direction but not allowing me back. I am stuck on the other side with no appearant alternate way out. I have logged out after searching a lot. Some DM intervention or player on the other side finding the door might help too.
Valhana East- Haunted House Some loot chests are labeled oddly; in OOC fashion. like "weapon low" or "armor low"
Great job so far BW!! I am enjoying it a lot so far.

This is intentional. This will tie into a quest that I do not have in place yet. They are nasty. Stay away from them for now (examine, and if you can't take them on, don't!) Inside the Bounty Office all 3 of the NPC were red/hostile. This was because of the squirrel kills. There will be penalties for killing innocent life, but not this. 1st encounter in the middle of the area was 2 tiny spiders. I ran upstairs incase I had to get away;They followed. I have adjusted the encounters and made it impossible for spiders to follow PCs. Secret door is working in one direction but not allowing me back. Fixed. Took over 2 hours to works out the bugs, but this should not be an issue now.

Major gold sucking bug here. Was traveling north from Northport towards Hammerfall. Stopped at carriage house to see where I could go. I had 75 gold exactly on me. My only option was to go back to Northport so I told the guy never mind. He gave my gold back, but a couple minutes later, while fighting two wolves, 75 gold dissappeared from my inventory. Didn't notice until I stopped at the carriage house south of Northport. Scrolled back through the texts and found it. Odd. Only 75 gold, no biggy. Continued on to Crescent Bay. Was going to hitch a ride to Valahna via carriage but needed coin now. Went to bounties office to turn in rat whiskers. Got 640 gold total from him (32 whiskers)...immediately I started loosing gold. The server took 75 gold at a shot, 6 times and the last time was 40 gold. All told I lost 715 gold. This IS a big deal. I think it might be tied to the carriage conversion some how.

First let me say thank you for fixing ALL those issues so quickly BW! Wow thats customer service.. I had an odd gold loss the day before when talking to the general merchant (racially he is a kobold) in Valhana. He bought 2 stacks of potions from me and each was for xxgp per stack. My inventory showed my gold at roughly 75-100gp below what the merchant supposedly bought em from me for. I did not think too much of it since things happen but now that SMK mentioned a gold issue for him too I thought I would add mine. I did not dig too deeply for specific values etc... so troubleshooting what happened to me will be next to impossible. Oh and one other small request if I could. The haunted house in Valhana appears to have its chests limted to refill only on server reset not a timer based refill. Thats not too bad except at our lower lvls there are only so many places to go and not get killed. Not to mention the next guy comes along and he opens the chests to find nothing.. kind of anti-climatic. Again, its a great looking place to far BW.. Thanks for making it and keep it coming!

Well the problem with the wraith spider isn't that it can follow you, it's the fact that it auto kills a level 1 if it hits you. I think the fortitude save was somehting like 27 and if you fail you lose a level, if you're leveled drained to 0 you die. I died twice form this spider, and all it did was 1 hp of damage each time it hit, but iI still auto died. This spider also spawns right when you walk in the sewers and it starts attacking you, it's also hard to target this killer spider due to it being so small that it gets at least 1 round of attacking you flat-footed because your trying to target it.

Tonight I will look over the scripting for the gold encumbrance to follow what the scripting is doing before trying to diagnose this issue. Probably be looking at testing some things tomorrow - today is too busy for me with other things going on.

If I might add BW. The script that is invoked during the conversation to purchase travel from the carriage merchant.
My suspicion is that the script is pulling the cost from ALL toons in the party when 1 toon is agreeing to purchase travel even though they are not in the area.
I believe that script could be fixed by making it a per toon specific script.
To me this makes sense because if toon A is at the merchant; agrees to travel for 75gp but toon B is in party though a seperate location from the travel NPC the gold is being withdrawn from ALL toons in the party.
Anyway it is just my thought based upon my limited understanding of how you can script for parties or individuals.

That script uses the PC heartbeat to update gold encumbrance on the PC, and I think smkaiser makes an accurate description about how he lost the gold - sounds like he lost 75 gold every 6 seconds until it was gone. That would be the gold encumbrance script in action. I will try today or tomorrow to look at the script and test some things and if I can't make heads or tails of why there's a party bug then I'll throw it to the lads on the scripting forum. NWN still has an excellent and knowledgeable support community.

Thank you for the update BW. Really appreciate your efforts & communication with us too. So any chance of getting T2 back online to play this weekend even if it is without the new gold encumbernce system? Couple of us would LOVE to continue exploring.
